[history]
In a crowded gym during practice in front of parents and coaches, the Buchanan High School wrestler tackled a teammate and executed a move his coaches taught him.
He inserted his fingers between the boy's buttocks.
It's called the "butt drag," in which a wrestler grabs a rival's butt cheek and puts fingers in the anus to get leverage. The move is widely used at matches around the country and has been around for decades.

I wrestled in H.S., but don't remember anything like this.

I’ve sure never heard of it.

Was Buchanan wrestler's move an illegal act? Eww! If it wasn't it should be.

Putting your fingers into another person’s butthole during a wrestling match CANNOT be a legitimate move. I can’t imagine this is coached anywhere. It should get the person thrown out of the match, out of wrestling, and likely into jail, if used.
Disgusting. And the article talks of it as if it is a normal move.
It’s only a normal move for gays.

Me neither. That is just downright invasive and uncalled for. Should be an interesting trial if it gets that far.

The move sounds disturbing to me, not a sex crime though.
It reminds me of a martial arts move a friend told me about years ago called "crush the gold". Another move only executable versus a male opponent.

I never wrestled but I had friends who did & I never heard of this.
I kind of wonder if saying it's some kind of long-established move is something cooked up by the lawyers for the accused.

This is total BS. I've been involved with wrestling a long time, there is no such move, you're in a singlet for goodness sakes.
Do they think you wrestle naked?

Good point. I was kind of wondering about that. However, for historical perspective, see my 13.
