An enraged father who disapproved of his daughter's older boyfriend went to his home and castrated him with a bread knife.
Helmut Seifert, 47, an ethnic German originally from Russia, was enraged when he heard his 17-year-old daughter was having a relationship with Phillip Genscher, 57.
He went to police in the town of Bielefeld where he lives but officers said they were powerless to intervene.
"The man then recruited two work colleagues at his factory and then went to the house of the victim," said police.
"The man was forced to remove his trousers and, fully conscious, he was castrated. The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator."

Sorry, gang. I’m a stickler for the LAW. The law states the 17 year old is LEGAL to have sex.
But this happened in Germany, where the legal age of consent is 14. YES, you saw right, it’s 14. Flame away, but if you don’t like the Age of Consent, then vote it higher like California.

Yes, the whole situation sucks. But the father is out of control. Based upon the story, and with no corroborating accounts of abuse or whatnot, the daughter has every right to have sex with the geezer.
And to those who tell me “But what if it was YOUR daughter!!” I say, well, I did a crappy job of raising her. And I would think her “bf” is a sleeze. And I may try to prevent her from seeing him. But it wouldn’t make a difference whether the bf is 17 or 57, as long as he wasn’t abusing her.
(Frankly, if I raised a daughter, it would never even be a consideration on her part to have a bf over 18, but that’s just me. You real fathers know what I’m talking about.)

Actually, I do not think he engaged in an ad hominmem at all. He said what you said was idiotic. He did not first call you an idiot and then say that thus everything you said was idiotic. I think it is often misused. For more info here:

A lot of things which are immoral are legal. Just because its legal does not make it right or moral.
The father seemed like he was very much in control. He tried to let the law take care of it but they refused.
Either you have very polite children or just maybe you sing better than my husband.
It just irks me when people pull out the ‘taliban’ card and use it like a race card. They don’t expect to be challenged on it and frequently cannot even support the assertion.
The taliban kill men, women, and children. They make war on the innocent and weak.
Comparing what this guy did, and by inference the FReepers who agree with his acts, to the taliban is horrible.
