We are just south of Christmas, and the nation's insiders -- self-proclaimed blue-bloods by birth and/or worldview -- have declared open season on Sarah Palin. Crazed left and sclerotic right have united in common purpose -- "hellbent," as Politico put it -- to rid this nation of the possibility of a presidency that would most assuredly end in "apocalyptic disaster" after which "the survivors will envy the dead" (or so says that fading leftist icon, The New Republic). Stop her now -- or we may end up with a normal American at the helm.
Sarah Palin is just too dumb to understand how lousy it is to be in this materialist and fascist society, this hateful America, the Atlantic tells us. Scorn laces the left as New York Times opinion writers let us know that behind the deceptive Palin smile "lies anger" and an unwillingness to accept the decline that those who know better have visited upon us out of wisdom and necessity. Shut up and bowl (or hunt or fish or tailgate, or any one of the thousands of pursuits those with little culture and no brains participate in), they say, and leave the decisions to us.
Meanwhile on the right, MSNBC's house conservative, Joe Scarborough, says it's time for Republican insiders to "man up and confront Sarah Palin." She's poison for responsible (read: insider) government. Bush consigliere and FOXNews analyst Karl Rove is leading the charge to stop this outsider, whom he regards as "unsuitable" for the presidency, which is a job best left to those who brought us porous borders, intrusive regulation, and exploding government spending. (In some respects, the Obama reign is simply the Bush presidency on steroids.) From left and right, insiders all, the anger is palpable at what James Lewis of American Thinker terms...

What has Rush always said about “feminism?” “To allow unattractive women easier access to mainstream society” or something like that?
And nothing about a struggle, fight or whatever, I assume.
I try to avoid that network at all costs...but based on what I read on this site he does deserve some batting around.
The best description I've seen of Sarah ,,,btw I love her show
To burst her security to the highest levels!
They now she is coming, and might have ideas on it.
Right on .........I hope she hears you!
To joe... “man up” is a party signal for him and his poofter buddies.

Perfectly stated. Karl Rove as Bush consigliere.
And another of those "family" members, Dana Perino, just said on Fox and Friends that there was nothing wrong with Obama leaving the press conference to Clinton on Friday, that it was set up in advance. She said Bush used to meet with Clinton and no one ever knew about it. Very Godfather do-me-a-favorish.
As for Sarah Palin, her acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican Convention resonated with right-thinking people. Her words struck a chord in the hearts of many. Real. Loves America. Holds life sacred. Unafraid. And here she is, more than two years later, still standing strong.
“Very Godfather do-me-a-favorish”
Just remember, 0, “Godfather” may one day ask you to perform an important service.
One that may require “all your powers, all your skills.”
Naw, that couldn’t be an “important” service then. Just something “for show.”
I love this part. GO SARAH!!!
One of the things Sarah has that the left doesn’t have is backbone. The left are just a bunch of howling for the most part rich, pampered, spoiled, arrogant and all the other disgusting attributes that I can’t think of right now.
Three votes for Sarah right here and I am working on more!!
We know that is not their real concern or we would not now have a presidency that is sweeping us toward an "apocalyptic disaster" after which "the survivors will envy the dead".
I once boxed in a lib female on why she hated Palin so much.
I didn’t allow her to use any generalities and kept pinning her down to specifics.
Finally, in exasperation, she admitted: “because she didn’t abort that baby”.
There you have it, kids. “Because she didn’t abort that baby [that I know I would have].”
Wow—I clicked through to that Atlantic piece, where the writer says that Palin “raises wretched children”.
“Scarblow needs to man up about the dead woman found in his o
office.”
______________
That recalls the old Edwin Edwards (former Louisiana governor) quote, “The only way I can lose is if I’m caught in bed with either a dead girl or a live boy.”
Scarblow was caught with a dead girl in his office, but he walked away from it scot free.

If Rush is against Sarah's potential run for the Presidency, ... it tells me something about Rush that is important. and not because it is good or correct. NO sir!
He can lose lots of his audience in regard to this issue. He does have a great following. I concur with his political views some of the time. He does understand the constitution and how America is bring destroyed before our eyes. He seems to be a conservative Republican.
A few years back when Rush was scathing against Bill Clinton ... he was not willing to say he was for Bill's impeachment. Right then and there I gained a new view of Rush. He can rail all he wants, but when the time comes to actually vote ... for what he had been expressing ... he backed off.
The opinions expressed by Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer are a bit amazing, considering the current state of affairs in America today.w

“Meanwhile on the right, MSNBC’s house conservative, Joe Scarborough,...”
If the word “conservative” ever needed quote marks it would have been in that sentence.
