TLC describes this week's episode as follows:
Sarah welcomes Kate Gosselin and her children to Alaska. To prepare for a camping trip with the kids, Sarah takes Kate to a bear safety class for rifle practice. Then Kate and the kids experience the wilderness braving the challenges of camping in Alaska....lol.
Be that as it may, Sarah Palin tweeted,

Popcorn and pure enjoyment - the Palins, Heaths and 8 plus Kate!
Oh dear! That’ a case of celebrity gone to her head. LOL. Very bad public behavior. I’d like your wife. A lot!!! LOL.

Thanks very much for your wonderful comments! So interesting to read the you know the areas and even know those guys at the gun shop! I love hearing that!
Ah, you all had record rain this past summer. It must be extra interesting for you to see Sarah’s show since you know the areas and can experience it in way that we can’t. I watch the shows three or four times to take in all the beauty of the scenery that I miss during the first couple of viewings because I’m too busy paying attention to the family members...lol.
LOL. I hadn’t heard that one before!
Are you vactioning in San Fran?
I think you’ll be able to see it sometime during the week or prior to next Sunday’s new episode. I think TLC is replaying the prior week’s episode the hour before the new one airs each Sunday.
Hi Fudd Fan!
LOLOLOL. Oh my gosh! Kate would have died right there under that canopy. Poor Kate just wasn’t suited for the great Alaksa outdoors, or indorrs for than matter. The stuffed animals scared her when she noticed them on the wall...lol.
Some members suggested the Jon and the kids would have better enjoyed themselves and I sure agree with them. Todd would have enjoyed Jon company, too.
I don’t know of any internet options, but I think Dr. Scarpetta might. The series is on DVD for sale at TLC at the link.
That seals it. I’m already her new best friend!
Business. We'll be here for five months. First couple of weeks in the hotel until our boat gets here. Then we'll be staying aboard and no more TV.
Probably!
Kate surprised me on the camping trip. Most Pennsylvania gals know how to fish, hunt, and camp unless they’re from Philly or the Pitts.
Isn’t she from the York area?
Ah. Much cooler weather for you in San Fran, but I suspect you’ll be happy to get your boat. Sounds very romantic and lovely to me!
I can watch ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’ ON DEMAND with RCN Cable.
Yes, Kate went to school in Elizabethtown. She's not the outdoors type, to say the least.
She will be glad to hear it... she doesn’t post much but she reads here a bunch. I guess she figures that with my big mouth (keyboard)... not much else needs to be said! ;-)

Yeah, I misremembered, BFD. I have never watched Jon and Kate + 8 nor do I know anything about her. I feel sorry for her that she seems to be a real miserable person. I now know that I would not waste my time watching her show but her kids are all cute and I feel bad for them.
Or you can buy the video-on-demand episodes from Amazon for $1.99 each.
I felt bad for their kids, who looked thrilled with the idea of a camp-out. She kept trying to get one of her kids to join her in wanting to leave, but she couldn’t get any of them, even when she pleaded with them.
It would have been funny if the kid had said “Thanks”.
But seriously, isn’t that kind of a cruel thing to say to a kid who is probably still suffering abandonment issues because the father is gone?
No you wouldn’t. And while Sarah said that, she was just being kind, you could tell — Sarah would know exactly how to act in New York, and would be gracious to whoever was hosting her.
Thanks for the information.
