Text Of Bill Clinton’s Speech-2004(He was Against the Bush Tax cuts before he was For them)

“So if you think — if you believe it is good policy — if you believe it is good policy to pay for my tax cuts with the Social Security checks of working men and women and borrowed money from China and Japan, you should vote for them. If not, John Kerry’s your man.”

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not LOVE, I am nothing. 1 Cor 13:2

Time to put the Tea Kettle back on the fire only this time the steam has to be pointed at the feckless GOP. When algore admits Ethanol is a boondoggle while the Repubs are passing bills to continue funding this massive waste it is time to fire up the phones. This is their last chance to prove they know anything about Capitalism and stopping the out of control spending so they move back to their old habits. While enjoying the biggest election victory in the past 100 yrs these spineless weasels go back to their District of Corruption ways. They prove once again the next President needs to be from outside the Swamp.

When Gore admits that making ethanol out of corn is not only inefficient but drives the price of food through the roof we have confirmation of a fraud. To waste massive amounts of energy making less massive amounts is a program only the District of Corruption would love. It is time to pull these subsidies now and stop negotiating like we lost the election rather than winning it. America loves leaders and they are starving for somebody in our Party to stop being afraid of PravdABDNC and stand up. When they stop trying to win over the leftwing Extremedia and realize no matter what they do they are going to be hated then they can begin leading. Old habits are hard to break, just like timid old bulls. To imagine they would twist themselves into a pretzel simply to keep from raising taxes during a Depression is depressing.

Brie and Chablis Conservatives are as predictable as who the NYT is going to endorse for President. Expecting them to promote the Tea Party ideals is like expecting a chimpanzee to explain evolution. Either they are naïve or stupid or both but they need to understand Pravda is either going to dislike them if they go along or hate them if they don’t so grab a pitchfork and enjoy the hatred. America is starving for somebody to say no to the spending, the class, sex, race, religion and every other warfare they can invent to separate taxpayers from their bank accounts. They need somebody willing to stand up and take the arrows and stones who cares about America more than their own egos. We need a leader who will have the courage to expose the pork merchants and who stealing from the taxpayers. This is their last chance and if they can’t change we will form a Party who will.

Ethanol is as bad an idea as any socialist idea we have ever had. It is the perfect example of the Gummit taking over the energy industry. The exact amount of the subsidy is unknown but most believe it is somewhere around $1.50/gal to harvest corn from farmland and then get it to the distillery to make corn alcohol. The amounts of waste and corruption along the way are massive as it is forced into our tanks by the Gas-tapo. They sell it under the guise it cleans the air when there is absolutely no truth to that claim and many studies have shown just the opposite. The only good thing about ethanol is that it produces 50% more CO2 than gas which is good for the trees.

It has been shown it takes more than a gallon of gas to produce a gallon of ethanol so the energy savings are a lie while the loss of food production is devastating. The worst part about ethanol is that it is by far the least wasteful form of renewable energy our Fed subsidizes. The massive sink holes from wind and solar make ethanol look like a workhorse in comparison. Yet our Repub politicians are lining up to renew this clunker while they cower at the thought of standing up for the drilling of oil. When will the people ever learn, no matter what the Party the corruption is always the same. Nobody wants to upset those farmers in Iowa for fear they will need to get the votes if their egos exceed their sense and make a run. So here we sit as they once again prove they have no principles or integrity only the same old establishment gamesmen looking for a way to be a hero inside the beltway. We will find out next week who the true heroes are and they will be the ones who vote no on everything except the extension of President Bush’s tax cuts and a Superman will propose more cuts to actually stimulate the economy. No; really!

Why are our fiscal Conservatives at work on this pork fest? They are ready to vote for ethanol, solar, wind, rail, union, hybrid cars, coal, commuters, household appliance replacement and you know by the time it goes through the system there will be hundreds more wasteful spending items. This is not what is going to get us out of our economic malaise. The only thing will be when these politicians put their own careers on the back burner and decide bringing home the bacon is not what they were hired to do. They were sent there to take a meat axe to that pig and begin to get back to capitalism. Only then will business be left alone enough to begin to crawl out of this mess. Once they begin to trust the American people and business that they can take care of themselves w/o an all powerful daddy, will the economy and the people begin to recover. Once the pols and especially the Repubs begin to trust Capitalism only then will we begin to see Americans start trusting too. The first brave steps for our leaders, is to vote no on this disaster and no more ethanol. That will be the first real sign that the elephants get it and they want Capitalism more than Big Gummit.

Merry Christmas FReepers

Axelrod is in full court press, but avoiding Fox News. I bet he scheduled these appearances before the Obama abdication experience. I wonder how the interviewers will approach the figurative bowing to Clinton.

Can we call the white half of Obama a boy, pretending to do a man’s job?

Thanks for the thread AB,another beautiful morning down here in the fab Fla. Keys, cooler tomorrow. Paul Ryan fast becoming a rock star.............

Last night I Googled up "US bails out the World" and got a slew of stuff on how we spent trillions upon trillions at the fed to bailout everyone....but us.

wwww.hubpages.com/hub/9-trillion-fed-bailout-wag-good-right-wrong-wrong-wrong

The link above that leads to hub pages story about 9 trillion spent is just one of many I found.

globalissues.org/article/768/global-financial-crisis

This one was really good and had in-depth stuff about what we are really in for as the fed spends up to 23.7 trillion according to Neil Baronsky of ABC news, and if my links don't work just forgive me.

abcnews.go.com/business/politics/story?ID=8140184&page=1

This guy Baronsky from the DBM/ABC says the true number(and he's a mucky it muck in the govt. as well) is more like 23.7 that we are committed for.

Anyway I went on and on discovering link after link that we had been screwed by Bernanke/others in a huge way, probably the biggest story of the year par none, once again.

Eventually I began to think slightly differently. What if it were all planned and all this is is nothing more than a Marxist redistribution. I goggled as much up and got another earful/eyeful!

lewrockwell.com/hornberger162.html.

This guy is quoted everywhere and does make the case that its all Marxism in play. Once again a huge story few are covering. Why?

www.fff.org/freedom/fd0812a.asp "Socialist Bailout of Wall Street Part I" among other pieces.

zerohedge.com/article/how-federal-reserve-bailed-out-world.

By now you get what is going on,the regime has spent so much money redistributing wealth around the world that its going to be an incredibly uphill battle to recover who and what we once were!!

Our chances of recovery dim every day they are out there giving away our resources. Once again the biggest story of the year if not the century and its not being covered.

Good morning and thanks again for the thread. Do I watch these shows or go outside and shovel/snowblow? Or just go back to sleep and wait for the Bears/Patriots game to start?

If/When Obama has another press conference or interview, I hope the first question is, "How does Bill Clinton want his coffee served?"

A 2-year moratorium on major tax rate increases is not an economic policy. The Republicans should be ashamed, because now it is clear to all business leaders sitting on cash reserves that the economy is not going to get better until at least 2013, or 2017 if Obama wins re-election in 2012.

Morning AB, All...

...singing this morning, singing tonight, yesterday to Baltimore for granddaughter’s birthday. Knew I was nearing daughter’s house by the folks all about clinging to their guns and bibles.

Called daughter, told her about guns and bibles, she said I was in the right place as I honed in to her place.

The ONLY place left in Merryland, ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, worth living in, as I note.

Anyway, will be back after 11 am, will join in then.

Keep me apprised until then.

I would love Rep. Van Hollen to explain to me and America why Democrats feel the need to tax the dead through estate taxes. Government already collected taxes on that money through income and capital gains taxes, and insist on their greedy grab for more money after death. Why? Obviously to transfer wealth, grab more money to wastefully spend on social programs and vote-buying schemes, and increase the size of government. Hey Van Hollen, haven’t you ever heard of CUTTING SPENDING?

It is amazing how Breyer is mish-mashing legaleze as his responses to Wallace’s questions. Breyer can’t even give a straight answer.

May check on Paul Ryan on Fox. He is the man with the plan, just needs a little personality upgrade. He would make a good veep for Sarah.

Kristol applauds the GOP ‘deal’/compromise with Obama on taxes. Kristol defends the Republicans by saying that Obama is the president and that carries a lot of weight.

[GOP can compromise quicker than they can show a spine.]

Arrogant, vain, ignorant, and a mortal threat to what remains of the U.S.Constitution.

I would have watched some bits and pieces of these shows this morning but Sleuth TV was showing Goldeneye and what red-blooded paleo Cold War hawk can pass up 007 teaming up with a dreamy knock-out guidance system programmer and saving the world from the post-Marxist Russkies?

Of particular note: Alan Cumming’s send-up of a petty former Soviet techno geek (”Boris”) who boasts of being “invincible” (just as the commies boasted of being “inevitable” in History) but who ends up as fossilized by liquid oxygen as the statues of Lenin and Stalin are in an earlier scene set in a graveyard of fallen Soviet idols.

Yep. I didn’t watch Austan Goolsby on Meet the Depressed this morning. I was watching Bond. James Bond.
