Stanley Kurtz, speaking at David Horowitz's "Restoration Weekend" in Palm Beach, FL elaborates on Obama's long involvement in a network of socialists and radical leftists who have long sought to subvert and discredit America's political, economic and social ideals and values. Nothing new, you say? One thing new is that a highly acclaimed, non-partisan scholar and author has gone beyond the usual political rhetoric and spin to give a fresh examination of Obama's origins and formative years that explain why he is what he is. I really enjoyed Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage”. Gave, what I believe, a real insight into what drives obama.

Stanley’s work during the campaign was worthy of a Pulitzer (if the Pulitzer’s were based on merit).
Absolutely! Most “journalists” today are little more than partisan commentators who have an agenda and try to disguise it with the shallow verbiage of “objectivity.” I think, personally, that some recent Pulitzer winners are just liberal hacks. One I immediately think of is a black guy who appears regularly on MSNBC and is greeted and adored as if he were revealing divine knowledge! In fact, he’s just a partisan liberal affirmative action phony!

It could be argued that Obama’s past no longer matters, but, in a sense, it matters more than the present. Obama has adopted the gradualist socialist strategy of his mentors, seeking to combine comprehensive government regulation of private businesses with a steadily enlarging public sector. Eventually, in his hands, capitalist America could resemble a socialist-inspired Scandinavian welfare state.
The gap between inner conviction and public relations in Obama’s case is vastly wider than for most American politicians. If Americans understood in 2008 the facts Kurtz reveals in this shocking political biography, Obama would not be president today. The fears of his harshest critics are justified: our Commander-in- Chief is a Radical-in-Chief.
Kurtz has been making the rounds in the “talk show circut” including a reappearance on Dr Milt Rosesberg’s late 10pm-midnight evening weekday show on am 720 Chicago’s WGN.
It was there when Kurtz attempted to expose candidate Obama’s close connections with terrorist bomber U of IL Professor William (Bill) Ayers (son of a Coomonwealth Edison power company CEO Stanley Ayers) and the disbursement of millions to radical educational groups through a takenover of the conservative Woods Fund by radicals . The station was bombarded with protestors and Kurtz had his life threatened.

indicating that it was a harbinger of things to come. For the episode was minimized by some of the stations talk show hosts following that demonstration and by Chicago media in general.
Thanks for the editorial comment. It seems that Obama has moved from being a proponent of revolution to socialism by incrementalism. We’ve seen that already in his political agenda.
Thanks for that information. I didn’t know about that but I’m not surprised. What we’re dealing with now is not traditional liberalism (with all its faults) but an extreme leftist mentality that condones violence and force to achieve its agenda. We’re getting more and more like a banana republic every day.

On 8/27/08 Chicago's WGN's staid 9-11pm weeknight talk show host of Extension Seven Twenty, Dr.(and professor) Milt Rosenberg, ran into an unacustomed buzz saw of threats,accusations,and criticism generated by the Obama camp when he hosted National Review's Stanley Kurtz, who after being denied access to the Chicago Annenberg Challenge files was given a day access to them and reported his preliminary findings on Rosenberg's show.
Kurtz indicated a close connection between close friend of the mayor, Commonwealth Edison CEO Thomas Ayers,interceeding for his son , U of I Prof William (Bill) Ayers, executive board member of the Woods Fund which is the central dispersal funding unit for several endowments. In 1960's when Obama was aged 6,Bill Ayers founded the radical group known as The Weather Underground ,which was accused of bombings and killings but never exclaimed any repentance for his actions. In 1999 with Prof William Ayers help, Barrack Obama, now in his late 30's became state Senator. Aided through Chicago political connections Obama succeeded Bill Ayers as chair of the Annenberg board of which Prof Bill Ayers was still a member. Together they managed the $50 million educational endowment from the Annenberg's, known as The Chicago Annenberg Challenge set up to advance education .
As Kurtz was relating how applicants requesting grants to advance education in math and science were flatly refused in favor of huge doles to ideolog activities from radical groups, including ACORN. Here another example <"http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2070466/posts"> A black radical group called for blacks not to celebrate the Fourth of July as Independence Day but the date of Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation (called the Juneteenth celebration) received a reported $5 million grant and national contraversey.
Astonished show host Rosenberg was bombarded with tied up phone lines and howdareU SOB emails .
What was interesting was the reaction of the following early am WGN talk show hosts, gulped. Worse yet the WGN'radio news department that was locked in agendum busy blessing St Obama reported and said; NADA ! Ignoring an inconvenient major news story breaking within the confines of their own building by their own highly respected talk show host.
I remember when the zombies of the left unloaded on the Milt Rosenburg show for allowing on Stanley Kurtz to expose the fakery and fraud of pres. Obongo life.
Thanks very much for that interesting information. By the way, it’s another example that the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers was not just “a guy in the neighborhood” (as Obama contended during the campaign) but a fellow ideologue and close associate. It still amazes me that the information about Obama that became known before the election never penetrated most of the electorate. And we’re not just talking about the usual faults and flip-flops of the average politician but things that go to the root of what it means to be an American and not a radical ideologue who seems to be hostile and alien to all our historic values and traditions. I still can’t get over it and “move on” as most have.
