Wonder if this is some clever marketing from the makers of the upcoming Resistance 3 for the PS3. The thing in the picture strongly resembles some of the creatures from that game, especially the
Grims.
And back in 2009, the first tease that Resistance 3 was coming was on a promotional billboard that was part of a set for a movie that was being filmed in Shreveport, Louisianna (see Resistance 3 wikipedia page). This creature photo was allegedly shot in Louisiana. Just a hunch.
