Baltimore Orioles designated hitter Luke Scott isnt apologizing for his comments about President Barack Obama and wont be facing disciplinary action from the team, which distanced itself from his statements but not from the sluggers right to speak his mind.
A day after Scott told Yahoo Sports that he did not believe Obama was born in the United States and that he thinks the president "dodges questions" and is "hiding something," the 32-year-old stood by his opinions and his ability to exercise them.
"We all have the right of freedom of speech under the First Amendment. We all dont have to agree with one another on our opinions," Scott told The Sun on Wednesday. "Everyone in my circle, that I run around with, we all feel the same about God, country, integrity and character."

And why shouldn’t he stand by them? What was erroneous about what he said?
Next time an “entertainer” makes some remark against Palin,
Bush, etc. let’s see how quickly the press goes running back for a clarification or apology

No kidding! There’s an old Joe Jackson song called Real Men:
“Time to admit what you call defeat, there’s women running past you now and you just drag your feet.” That’s how I’m looking at the Republicans/conservatives at this time. I have to say, it makes me proud to be a conservative woman. :)
