Like beating on His Royal Arseness’ limo is going to lower their tuition fees. Kids, get a real job and quit emulating those parasites Charles and Camilla.
Tuition to jump from about $5k to $14k. Good Grief! Must be subsidized to the hilt, even at $14k... and compare to 4-year colleges here at $35 to $40k.
If I were in Parliament, I would respond by putting up to vote for literal shutdown in universities as a punishment. If that did not wok, a quadrupling or more increase in tuition as a reaction, with further cuts.
I don’t know the history of tuition in UK; but, I bet I know how it goes:
1. Everybody gets free education
2. Taxes go up - but its ok, you’re getting a free education
3. Everybody not living in poverty will have to pay some small amount
4. Make that a slightly higher amount
5. Oh sh!t, we’re so broke we have to triple what people pay
6. There :). Everybody pays higher taxes, and pays tuition.
How do these jackasses find time to riot? I was too busy either studying or working.
What the heck was their protection detail thinking letting them drive through there?!
Silly students, don’t they know the government will simply give them more to pay their tuition, fees, rent, food bills and so on? Prince Charlie is one of them, a PC kook and Muslim. Cut the guy some slack.
And don’t think it can’t and won’t happen here. Did you see all those RED banners in the mob? Students or ‘rent a mob’?

These students need to redirect their anger at themselves... they’ve probably supported illegals’ (if they have illegals in the UK like we do here in the States) right to free or a type of in-country tuition... if so, dumb students don’t realize that when they demand that $hit... someones have to pay for it... they need to look in the mirror (and now tuition bills) to see who’s now responsible.

Ya know, London is kind of a “big” place. What in the HELL was he doing driving through a “demonstration” ... there is really something wrong with that “royal gene pool” ... he’s the result.
Someone better get on the BBC and tell those students that nobody “owes” them an education. The taxpayers are tapped out and if they keep this up, they will be busting rocks for road work for a dollar (or pound) a day. Anyone they can identify should have any and all government assistance cut immediately. If they have rich parents, their parents need to be fined.
I once read an article (on line= so take with a grain of salt) that discussed the amount of money that Britain has to spend to maintain the crown. Can’t remember the figure but remember thinking that it was a big sum. Given that the queen is one of the riches people on earth, maybe austerity should include eliminating the monarchy. Not defending the violence but I can understand the sentiment.

Women used to that for eons until the “Liberation” of the 60s. (Which began in the Soviet Union, btw.) And I resent the heck out of the Sixties for that of quite a number of reasons.
I frankly resent having been forced to work while raising our child-— there is nothing wrong with wanting to be a terrific wife to a good man and be the best mom you can be—not it’s almost impossible to be a stay at home mom due to the taxes and high costs of living today. (and living in a poor, usually crime ridden neighborhood is not an option.)
