LONDON – In Britain's worst political violence in years, furious student protesters rained sticks and rocks on riot police, vandalized government buildings and attacked a car carrying Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, after lawmakers approved a controversial hike in university tuition fees.

Clarence House said that the couple were unharmed in the incident on Regent Street, but onlookers said Camilla looked extremely shaken after the attack.
The Prime Minister, David Cameron, described the attack as ‘shocking and regrettable’.
One protester who witnessed the attack said: ‘We were headed up towards Regent Street and there didn’t seem to be a lot of police about and people were throwing things at shops.
‘Then out of nowhere came this car and when you looked into it you could clearly see Prince Charles and Camilla inside it looking incredibly confused.
‘We all stood there for a millisecond in stunned silence and then people started lunging towards the car from all sides. It all happened very quickly.’

When was the last time a member of the Royal Family had any say in the passing of legislation? If the Royalty were abolished tonight how would that affect tuition rates?
These students need to redirect their anger at themselves... they’ve probably supported illegals’ (if they have illegals in the UK like we do here in the States) right to free or a type of in-country tuition... if so, dumb students don’t realize that when they demand that $hit... someones have to pay for it... they need to look in the mirror (and now tuition bills) to see who’s now responsible.
Or just shoot the bastards when they riot.

Actually I live in the UK, and its not snowing in London, it never did to the extent it did up north, mainly a coating and some ice which has since melted.

Ya know, London is kind of a “big” place. What in the HELL was he doing driving through a “demonstration” ... there is really something wrong with that “royal gene pool” ... he’s the result.
Someone better get on the BBC and tell those students that nobody “owes” them an education. The taxpayers are tapped out and if they keep this up, they will be busting rocks for road work for a dollar (or pound) a day. Anyone they can identify should have any and all government assistance cut immediately. If they have rich parents, their parents need to be fined.
Several dozen large bore shotguns would take care of those bastards.
Kind of reminds me of Arch Duke Ferdinands driver taking a wrong turn right where the assasin was eating a sandwich. WW1 resulted.
