They are in revolt. Well, they are revolting and they are in revolt.

That is nonsense. It is most certainly NOT dead. Reid will file cloture to vote on the House bill next week. Everyone knows that.

Senate cancels DREAM vote
(CNN) - Senate Democrats canceled a scheduled vote on the DREAM Act on Thursday, a move that means the measure is likely dead for this year.
The hotly debated measure that offers a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants who came to the United States as children narrowly won approval Wednesday from the U.S. House.
The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act - or DREAM - would create a path to citizenship for immigrants who entered the United States illegally as children under the age of 16 and have lived in America for at least five years, obtained a high school or General Education Development diploma and demonstrated “good moral character,” according to a White House fact sheet.

Correct. Old Harry will bring it back the instant he thinks he has the votes. This is nothing more than a delaying tactic to put us at ease.
Hopefully, we can run the clock on these s.o.bees until the new congress is seated.

It is NOT DEAD. Harrah Reid needs 3 days to bring it up again, [once he files] thats all. We need to stay awake to this wetdream scam.

They had no real expection of passage. This was just politics as usual.

They could ... but I’m not sure they have the votes anymore.

Democrats couldn't get any Republicans to vote for the Dream act Amnesty for illegals so they “canceled” it for now.
Democrats and Reid will try again next week. Just watch and see.
Democrats are Marxists.
Have to deport illegals or there will never be another conservative elected ever and then the U.S. is finished.

This has not been a good day for ODummer.
First, his own party in the House is after him about the tax deal.
Now, his own party can't come up with a version of DREAM that even his own members can agree on, much less the Repubs.
And I thought today was going to be dull.

CNN and the media and democrats are one and the same.

Cue the picture of Admiral Ackbar from Star Wars who declares, “It’s a trap!”
These dirtbags aren’t going to let this go. They’ll probably try some late night vote while no one is paying attention ... or they think no one is!

Yep they tabled the Senate version of the Dream Act and now can take up the passed House version if they so desire and may well do so next week. But their problem is securing 60 votes to block a filabuster.

It should be obvious to everyone this is the only issue or the top one? Why isn't?
