West Virginia needs to get digging as well. But as they say, why mine our own resources when we can just buy them from our enemies?

Wonder if Texas and Louisiana can get a better deal to sell their oil and natural gas to China than sending them to CA, FL, and IL? After all, these “green energy” states have wind and solar power, subsidized by the US taxpayers, so they don’t need our evil carbon-based products.

...exported to Asian countries, including Japan, Korea and China.

Well, that's where we do our manufacturing. No surprises here.

I love coal and I love American exports...bringing in money from foreigners> China like foreign coal from Canada Australia and America because it is shipped right to ports near their factories.

China has internal coal deposits but the railroad infrastructure for bringing it to population and industrial centers is fair to poor.

An encouraging article (although the guy needs to learn that sentences are not the same as paragraphs). Three or four hundred jobs in that area is a big deal, as the population is reported to be about 9,000 but it seems in every single respect to be more like a town of 3,000 or less.

Heh,

Several of my nitwit democrat supporting inlaws are coal miners in Colorado/Utah. Their idiot support of democrats may now “pay off” for them by cutting “off their pay”. Tough luck guys.

When I went to my property this summer I saw the New Elk Coal mine is out of mothballs and being fired back up. It is located between Trinidad and La Vita on Hwy 12, the “Highway of Legends”.

“we” don’t do our manufacturing in Asia.

Asians do our manufacturing in factories we sent there (never to be returned), and we send them our money and technological capabilities.

Net result: Asia becomes rich, technically capable, ever-stronger and a manufacturing arsenal.

While “we” become broke, backward, incapable of doing anything anymore, and weak.

That’w what “we” do.

America used to export oil, and look where we are now. We should keep the coal for ourselves.
