LONDON -- Julian Assange, the founder of the WikiLeaks Web site whose release of sensitive U.S. documents on the Internet has generated outrage and embarrassment in officials circles, was arrested by British police Tuesday morning on a Swedish warrant, and was set to appear before a magistrate for a bail hearing later today.Assange turned himself in at a London police station at 9:30 a.m. local time, and was immediately taken into custody, police officials said.

Isn’t the world supposed to end now that he has been arrested?

I find it interesting that he turns himself in after leaking information detrimental to U.S. interests abroad, but before leaking any information that might be damaging to our enemies.

He is not out for the truth, he is out to weaken the U.S. I say, if we were not able to stop him before he screwed us, then we should do all in our power to publish any information that does damage to any of our enemies. Let's start with China, Russia, and islamic countries. Mexico and Venezuela might be interesting as well.

I’m reserving judgement on this whole thing partly because I don’t really know the truth about how he got the information that was published. I don’t trust the media and I certainly don’t trust the Obama admin to tell the truth about anything. I want to see what evidence they have on the PVT. they say leaked the documents, who could very well be a pawn in this whole mess.

I don’t think so. He has a long track record in cyber terror. Not only that, his connections to the left are long and deep. There are even $$ connections to Soros groups.

I was referring to the Army private they have locked up who supposedly gave WikiLeaks the documents. Although Assange might also be a toy for powerful people as well. After all he is behind bars right now.
