They act like this is a big deal .. why?
Is it the December 7th date? (1941)

I was born and raised in lauderdale and I can remember temperatures lower than that.

I can also remember at least once when it snowed!

It’s really cold down here. I live on the outskirts of Tampa and we have a prediction for 29. Now that’s really quite cold.

I’ve been covering my gardenia. Hope it gets through.

Bull Squirt.. I lived in South Florida for many years..
Some winters are just colder than others.. many times the orange trees(crop) was treatened in central Florida over the years.. with temps in the 30's..

Even one year it snowed in Miami.. melted before it hit the ground BUT it did snow..
I saw it...

I just saw the forecast for Gainesville, it’s supposed to get down to the low 20s tonight with wind-chill in the teens.

UF students aren’t used to that for their walks to class, that’s for sure.
