Well Aslan could be Mohammed... If he started committing rape, pedophilia, and lopped of a few heads of those who refused to follow him.

You hire secular actors then you’ll have them say foolish things like this. But it’s well documented who Lewis was, his beliefs and his intention for the character. That can’t be unwritten by an actor.

Why do folks even listen to what Liam Neeson has to say?

I don’t even think he saw the first Narnia movie and he was probably sticking his fingers in his ears going “la la la la la la” when he read the lines of Aslan.

I believe Allah was represented by Tash in the Chronicles of Narnia books. Tash makes an appearance in The Horse and his Boy.

Leam Neeson should really try reading the books.

Hmmmm...I guess ol’ Liam has never figured out that C.S. Lewis was one of the famous “Oxford Christian Writers.”

So he his saying that the makers of the movie should be marked for death? I mean, that’s apparently the sentence for ANY depiction of Mohammed.

Liam may want to study up on CS Lewis before making stupid statements like that.

Tash is Aslan, Aslan is Tash. Lewis was really prophetic.

C.S. Lewis knew Mohammed’s teaching was of the devil. No way is Aslan depicting anything other than Jesus Christ, Redeemer, Son of the True God.

Suggesting that Aslan is Mohammed really is a light-year stretch.

Angers them. Ha ha. Well, it amuses me more than anything because it just makes old Liam just look ignorant about Alsan, Jesus, Mohammad, and Buddha. How could anyone be such a dolt unless he puts political correctness (how he fears someone will feel about what he says) ahead of truth? Anyone who knows anything about C.S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia would know that moronic blather for what it is: something more likely to emanate from Screwtape than from anyone else.

On another note, I just happened to find in one of my boxes of books a 1951 edition of Prince Caspian. I also found a 1944 paperback edition of Perelandra. Wow, the cover art back then was REALLY garish.

Is Liam Neeson the man whose wife died not so long ago? Very sad. I wonder if he’s lost his way since then.
