I read somewhere that the Heinz family still owns 4% of the stock, and that is worth a lot of money.

Maybe my information is incorrect, but your post is not inconsistent with my memory.

Who knows just how much equity the Heinz’ family has in those investment firms?

Fact is, Heinz/Kerry are filthy rich and they got their great wealth initially from a company that is now sending jobs overseas.

Are we supposed to not buy Hunts Ketchup instead?

I'm going with the alternative Ketchups forever now.

I definately didn’t know that there are two Aldi’s. I just knew that Aldi started carrying some of the Trader Joe’s brands after they acquired them. I personally like the stores. Now I am wondering which one I am going to. The one that is linked to Trader Joes, or the one that isn’t.

The first time I ever saw an Aldis was when I was visting Germany. I was surprised to see one here in the United States. I was even more surprised to see how big they were over here.

Thanks for posting. We’re paying USAID NGO’s to instruct other countries on difficult HI-TECH jobs. It’s truly amazing and not a word from the Industrial Media Complex - IMC or many others for that matter...

Brooks. I’ve used it for 40+ years. Never was a fan of Heinz. Brooks was always the best.

Heinz or Heinzo?

Only footage I ever saw of Heinz was at the London 1972 Rock And Roll Show. He’s followed by Screamin’ Lord Sutch, Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley, Little Richard, and Chuck Berry.

Mick Jagger scoffs because he says he can’t believe anyone would still be interested all those years after the first go round.

Thanks. I'll see if it's carried in my area. I've never seen it and I don't miss a trick, hah....but I'll check again next time.

I read somewhere that the Heinz family still owns 4% of the stock

I don't know how they could. There are 318.3 million shares outstanding. The single largest shareholder is the chairman, Johnson, who has just under one million shares. That's less than one-third of one per cent of the stock.

Let's say that again: the single largest shareholder has less than 1/3 of 1% of the stock.

Who knows just how much equity the Heinz’ family has in those investment firms?

And who knows what else those firms are invested in? Quick! Boycott everything! They might own Mattel stock! Or Ford! Don't let the Heinz cooties get on your money!

In order to be good Americans, we must see to it that all the people who work for H.J. Heinz become unemployed. This is how we will stop them from moving jobs to China!

By the way, Heinz makes soy sauce in China. Soy sauce. China. Get it? In China they sell soy sauce. It's kinda like selling ketchup here.

When Zero can’t make solid decisions on his communist agenda, it is nearly impossible for a U.S. company to plan for improvements, expansion, and hiring.

Agreed. I have no problem with Heinz. They employ many Americans. Capital will flee to where capital is treated best.

Instead of boycotting our US employers, we should be boycotting our occupation government.

this is a non-issue. shares are so widely scattered .... they are owned by almost everyone and everything.

Well ever since I saw that image of Roger Daltrey bathing in a tub full of Heinz Beans I have been a bit unenamored with the Heinz conglomerate.

The Heinz Company that is so disassociated with the Teresa Heinz who almost (now clearly) became the first African born resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue save the result of the mal informed voting Americans of the Ohio Valley.

I'll boycott Heinz for now.

Let them come out and with some commercials that explains why that is such a bad idea.
