Ingraham: "Is anyone going to run as a Bush Republican in 2012 and if so who?" Rove: "Every one of them is going to run as a Bush Republican by saying 'I want to continue to fight the war on terror' -- with maybe one or two exceptions -- and, 'I want to continue the Bush tax cuts

"Blue bloods" required a response because "that was unnecessary." Then logically, Rove and President Bush did not respond to all the smears and lies because they were - NECESSARY.
Rove is like his political forebears, politically stuck at the Country Club and can show nothing but contempt for those of us who have red blood coursing through our veins, like Ronald Reagan.
It’s the Establishment/Ruling Class Elites vs. us common folk.
You might be right; they may intend to see that Jeb gets in the race. However, unless we all fall victim to that “flashy thing” they used in “MIB” to destroy memory, another Bush will NEVER win in the next 50 years. Unless, of course, Jeb ran as a Dem.
I agree. Rove is exactly right in that Bush the Elder did his part admirably and heroically in WWII.
Getting your hands dirty early in life doesn’t prevent one from being a Blue Blood, elitist Republican later.
There isn’t a thing wrong with realizing the American dream and hitting it big, based on merit, luck and effort. There is something very wrong with letting that insulate and alienate you from those who aren’t “in the club”.
I’ve known people who are wealthy, hard working types who remain just folks, and I’ve met poor snobs, too.
I don’t doubt that Rove has worked hard to get where he is, but his reaction to the Tea Party movement comes off as snobbish. If he thinks a Tea Party candidate is a worse bet than the establishment Republican that she just defeated, he shouldn’t go on TV and trash her right off the bat, unless maintaining the club is more important than beating libs.
What you saw in Rove, is what we got. A RINO-hack from Day One.
It was a fully justified response to Bab's needling. If Rove and the Bushes are oversensitive about controversies like this, they shouldn't have started it.
"Don't start nothing and there won't be nothing."
Better late than never, right? :-)
Btw - how could you miss visiting Guam, Samoa, and Puerto Rico?
First there were no death panels, how ridiculous to suggest there were. Then they took out in the legislation what wasn't there anyway (a red herring of advisory panels, in death panel logic you will not be advised or given any choice). Now we have people on the left saying that the only way 0bamacare will work is with death panels.
Blue blood is having the same effect. Driving them wild because it hit the nail on the head. You get the most flack when you are right over the target.
Charley Rangle did his part admirably and heroically in Korea.
There is a time to honor our war heroes and there is a time to discuss politics. And to interject the former into the latter is just a trick to change the subject.
Go Sarah!
If you're receiving flak ... you're over the target!
true, but the “blue bloods” are coming after her and if you pretty much tell the “oldest” blue blood to “f” off the others will have to think before they speak
What kills me about these elitist RINOs is that Sarah didn’t walk into the spotlight, a RINO named McCain asked her to join him in it. And used her afterwards to keep his Senate seat when he ran such a weak campaign.
Soon after the LSM media put her off her game and Obama stopped shaking in his boots, the knives for her came out. She has borne it extremely well and that galls RINO and donkey alike. She’s hard to fool twice.
They give Palin no credit for the victories she has given to the Republican Party and to the opportunities she’s opened up for them for 2012. I’ll bet they think another Rudy McRomney RINObot will win fer sher in 2012. They’re wrong, because voters are still as mad at the GOP as they are at the Dems.
It’s taken a tea party movement to hold the door open for a better candidate. The GOP wants to shove another android through the door. They better put up a real man or woman of flesh, blood, and brains instead. I’m not voting for a RINObot.
But apparently he doesn't believe Sarah Palin is entitles to her own opinion.
