(AP) Bristol Palin is striking back against MSNBC host Keith Olbermann for dubbing her "worst person in the world."
Olbermann gave her the title on his show earlier this week, casting her as a hypocrite for appearing in a public service announcement promoting abstinence and safe sex. Palin was an unmarried teenager when she had her son, Tripp.
He likened her being an abstinence spokeswoman to saying former President George W. Bush "kept us safe, 'cept for that 9-11 thing, which doesn't count."
The 20-year-old "Dancing With the Stars" diva and daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin defended herself on Facebook Thursday. She said calling her a hypocrite is an "old canard." And she said that what Olbermann lacks in originality he makes up for with "insincere incredulity."

The media in this country make me sick! I'm sure glad AP and CBS are telling us what Bristol said because otherwise we wouldn't know.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Go get 'em Bristol.
Bristol the Pistol!
Olberman is no match for her....lol.
Bet he hasn't checked that out yet. He really should. Those ladies looked like they could take thin strips from anything!
I’m waiting for someone in the media to call Michelle My Belle Obama a “Diva” but I won’t hold my breath
Even though she didn’t win..It was still great she got as far as she did on DWTS. It truely caused the Already unhinged Libs to lose their minds! If Olberman can do nothing else but call Bristol Palin the worst person in the world. Consider it a Badge of Honor Bristol! Be Proud!
Bump, give it a rest, already.
ughh... when is someone going smack this guy ? that’s what he needs...
....Olbamamann is going into the fray unarmed.
People like Olbermann are sickening. But since they are good liberals, nobody in the MSM will ever call them out on things.
What would Olbermann say if some famous liberal Hollywood idiot, for example, who had been into drugs, then began working to warn young people about the dangers of drugs? Olbermann and other liberals would be heaping tons of praise on them. They would say how such liberal Hollywood icon had turned their life around, that their advice is valuable to drug abusers because they’ve been there, done that, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Ditto with anyone who had been into alcohol, or gang lifestyles, who then turned their lives around. As long as such people are liberal, people like Olbermann would praise them for being authentic and trying to do something good for society.
But Bristol Palin, because of who she is, even though she’s learned some tough life lessons about the subject of teen pregnancy and unwed motherhood, is deemed NOT to be a fit activist on warning young people of the dangers of that happening.
I would love to ask Keith exactly what the criteria are for judging whether someone who has made major life mistakes can work to help others avoid such pitfalls.
I think that the criteria are that such spokesmen/women must be liberal in order for the likes of Olbermann to find any value in what they want to do.
When a person makes a mistake and trie to keep others from making the same mistake, that certainly is not hypocrisy.
Now if she made the same mistake again it would be.
Olbermen is an idiot.
He has no more business on Television than would a rabid dog.
really? I don’t get this fascination with this family. I think her coming back at Olbermann is classless and, frankly. immature. This argument is the kind of argument we use in high school..which..she basically still is. I don’t know, my friend, we are on way opposite sides when it comes to the Palin mystique.
Tell me please, what’s the difference between Bristol and Megan McCain? Both famous for doing nothing but being the children of a politician. Both not too bright...both making alot of money off of their name...so why don’t the people here in FR stand up for Megan McCain like they do for Bristol? They applaud Bristol for making the money while she can...why not applaud Megan McCain? Because Bristol says what they want to hear? I just don’t like hypocrisy.
Olberman is a 52 year old man picking on a 20 year old. How pathetic is that?
This isn't bad.
If Olbermann wanted an exercise in hypocrisy he could do a PSA suggesting idiots display reticence.
Olberman rails solely on conservative women, but I think that’s just a public front. I really believe the guy has some *deeply*-seated issues with the female gender as a whole.
I’d pay to see a cage fight between Bristol and Meghan McCain.
Because Bristol is responding to a never ending series of attacks. Megan is attacking.
