This is Jennifer Rubin's first column for WaPo. She used to be at Commentary until yesterday. I don't think MA's version of Obamacare is Romney's main problem. Didn't MA have a veto proof majority in each house?

Folks can I boil this story down to its basic element?

THE LEFT ARE SCARED SH*TLESS SHE’S GOING TO RUN!

She’ll run circles around this faggot who currently occupies the White House

Why risk her fame and her rock-star status by running and possibly losing?

The Elites just don't get the Palins. If they think Sarah's getting out of Alaska and running around the country has to do with fame and status, they are dead wrong. Sarah Palin believes she has a duty to her country. If not, she and Todd would be quite happy following Barbara Bush's advice and staying home and enjoying a good life. The inside-the-beltway crowd cannot fathom someone who isn't motivated to pursue power for the sake of having power.

Right now Palin has the most name recognition out of all the maybe going to run candidates. With the name recognition going for her big guns right now it is easy to put her out in front of the race but until she and others commit and we have the first big debate it is anyone’s game for the GOP nomination.

Plus the Tea Party will play a big roll this time so if McCain wants to run he is going to face some the most intense scrutiny he has ever had to deal with in his lifetime and he will drop out. He want be able to swipe aside he links with the Tides Foundation this outing. That along should have disqualified him last time let alone the constant flip/flop,ing on key conservative issues.

Whoever the nominee is it will be a long hard row to hoe this time. We are going to be watching and participating in the primaries very heavily this time. No free passes for anyone anymore because if that happens we are screwed in 2012.

What happens on the Right if Palin decides not to run? Will the constituency melt in disappointment?

The only person I see as a realistic alternative is Mike Pence. DeMint indicated he won’t run.

I think it is odd that the worse the MSM treats her the higher her ratings go. Not only do they attack, berate and belittle her core values they choose the values that most Americans hold dear.

Not aborting her handicapped son to the media was a crime to most Americans she was a hero. The fact that she is Pro Life and supports handicapped children. Most Americans are Pro life or know someone that has a handicapped child and agree with her about both.

Instead of being objective they show their true colors, that they are mean spirited vindictive people that really scorn the average American.

I don't think MA's version of Obamacare is Romney's main problem.

Romney keeps defending the health care law in Massachusetts so it certainly is one of his main problems along with this liberal record as governor.

Romney is lying sack of manure. No conservative with a brain buys into the lies he spews.

Jennifer, let me tell you what I think about this column this way.

If you’ve watched pretty much any TV the last few weeks, you may have seen the BMW commercial where the young guy’s growing up, and his mom and dad are looking at various gifts they’re looking to buy him and saying “This is just as good as the one you’ve always wanted.” And the kid goes...”No, it’s not.”
