Russia is an enemy of the United States. They have been and they will continue to be until Putin, the "Our Russia" party, and the Communists, are gone.
You are conflating The Soviet Union - which was an enemy - and Russia which is not. Times have changed and you need to face up to the real dangers in the world which are not coming from Russia!
