Ok so educate me here people go on unemployment and get a check every week. How come everyone seems to lose them on the same day?
Logic says, approx. 250,000 would lose a check every week, 99 weeks after they went on what is this co-terminus coverage?
After 99 weeks they should go on Welfare. Anyone could get a job in 2 years.

I was on extended unemployment the other year. I wanted a job more then a government check. I got no help from the government in finding a job etc but the did keep sending the checks. It sucked. I worked 3 part time jobs trying to get my feet in the door for full time. I finally found a full time job in a near by city and I am glad for it..
I’d like to see at least Fox interview our new reps, Boehner, in an explanation how taxcuts for ALL will help new jobs get created. Otherwise, it just looks cruel by our side, even though we all know it’s not. If Fox won’t put a camera in front of our side, no one will.

People are hurting in this country while we send taxpayer $$$ trillions to Africa, and the so-called “conservatives” keep their mouths shut about it for fear of being labeled, oh-my-god ‘RACIST!’. Nothing has been done by Saint Bush and the Republican Congress about H1Bs, about outsourcing to India and Communist China, which is how millions (I’d estimate) lost their jobs.
Prayers for everyone.I mean that.We have a needy food basket at the store.Have 7 homeless people under the bridge.Have a homeless tent city not far away.Been to people loosing their houses-they are in shock.Prayers.Prayers.

1. Someone posts an article about unemployment extensions. Again, the Democrat controlled Congress which can pass anything it wants and bent every rule to get obamacare through, failed to pass the extension. Again the Republican's are asleep at the wheel in responding/getting it well known that they'd pass the extension with already appropriated funds.
2. The next 25 posts are from the hardest working, highest achieving, driven to succeed Americans ever to walk the earth. They all work 100 hours a week and never in their life would take one dime in socialist unemployment. Despite their long hours working harder than you and me, they find time to come here and tell the unemployed that they are lazy failures.
3. Now more geniuses arrive. Usually an economics professor and stict Constitutionalist will post a lecture on how unemployment checks increase unemployment and how we should abolish all but the Army. Also, they too founded their own business and saved 15 years of emergency funds so damn you if you didn't!
4. Now the fun begins. One of the apparently many unemployed freepers quotes the largest A-hole of the above group and the back and forth begins. It takes 2, maybe 3 exchanges for the big mouth to step over the line and then....
5. The passers-by/everyday freepers berate him and he suddenly stops responding.
6. Finally, I open my big mouth to wish everyone who is unemployed, underemployed, fearing unemployment, afraid of their bills, afraid of their debts, afraid of their health, afraid of their future all the very best for brighter days this Christmas and in the coming new year.
Had Obama paid attention to what was really happening, he would have concentrated on retaining American jobs and not burdening our children with the bill for his economically devastating health care bill. He could have brought health care up after exhausting all his efforts on helping to protect American small business. Instead, he’s an idiot.
