Hi Navy Bro!!
Had a great Thanksgiving and watched my share of football!
Weather is typical, wet and cool.
Good luck on your surgery, looks like I need surgery too, as I have 2 hernias..:=(

My train was on time, but I understand the last train of the evening is operating 90 minutes late - glad I didn't have to wait around for it.
Knee surgery set for Monday the 13th of Dec.

Aloha Doc!
Always great to see ya too!
But beware of the bad news today. Not a good day for the fore ward deployed.

Hi Taz!!
I hope your Thanksgiving went well, mine did!
Looks like surgery is in my immediate future as I have an umbilical AND an inguinal hernia; now I need to find a surgeon I can trust!

No - six Army soldiers gunned down by a renegade wearing an Afghan uniform. Names of the Fallen not yet released. The shooter was subsequently killed.

For those of you that don't keep abreast of European politics and all that, there's a debate going on on reddit.com about the first lady of Spain vs. the first lady of France (photo, below):
Lively discussion, it is.

Thanks for tonight's road trip, Lauren. Seems you've been touring around Texas lately and got me to wondering if Goodfellow AFB was still in business so I looked it up. It is!
Maybe you could mosey on over to San Angelo sometime in the future.

F-22 Raptor.
It's an actual photo captured at exactly the right moment when the water vapor trailing off the aircraft caught the sun in just the right way to refract it.

Grew up at Sheppard AFB after the Vietnam War. Missed the entire “60’s experience” being overseas with my parents, and to have returned to the US to any less conservative town would have been insane. My dad had the good sense to request Wichita Falls rather than a CA or MA base.
Great training for medical fields here, took great care of my parents until they passed.
