RUSH: Everybody is freaking out over this WikiLeaks stuff. And, frankly, the WikiLeaks guy bugs me because he looks like a waif. He looks like he ought to be in a Peter Pan stage play rather than on the world stage affecting things. He's a little wuss, Julian Assange. Need to find this guy and string him up. Frankly, I find what's in this stuff interesting. I think it's more interesting than the news the networks come up with each and every day. Give me more of this stuff. For example, we have learned that the Saudis, our friends the Saudis, they're all ticked off at us because we won't go take out Iran. Apparently, prior to the big Cairo speech, Obama went over there, met with King Abdullah, and Obama's going on and on and on about how important it is to find peace with the Palestinians and the Israelis. Apparently King Abdullah couldn't care less about any of that. He's worried about Iran and its nukes, and he wants to hear from Obama what we're gonna do about that.

We continue to sell $60 billion of sophisticated armaments to Saudi Arabia, it's our largest such sale to anybody ever, and they're funding Al-Qaeda. And they're not prepared to go to war with Iran. We're selling them all this ammo and all these armaments, but they want us to go take Iran out. What kind of idiots...

Now, what I woulda said if I were Obama, "Hey, if you're worried about Iran, go hire and pay Al-Qaeda to do it since you guys are in charge of Al-Qaeda," because we've learned that, too. Not that it was any big surprise, frankly, but we've learned that the Saudis are behind the funding and all that of Al-Qaeda. So if you want to take out Iran, go call Bin Laden, go call Ayman al-Zawahiri and have them do it, you know, do something yourself once. I mean you gotta know Obama isn't gonna do it. Obama's too worried about people in his office being too fat....

If there was a problem with any of these docs coming out, they wouldn’t be allowed to see the light of day.

What I find interesting about the WikiLeak information is comparing it to the Valarie Plame deal and how the media is playing up the issues. With them the Valarie Plame leak was the worst thing since Watergate. With the WikiLeak secret info the media is playing it totally different. Like it is in the national interest for these “secrets” to be let out no matter how many lives it may cost or other damage it may cost the country and other nations as well. Just amazing.

Good points. One inactive spy (maybe), who essentially outed herself — vs. hundreds or thousands of active spys, informants, diplomats, soldiers, etc. put at serious risk.

I wouldn’t put it past Obama to use this to force his regime agenda on us. What a unique opportunity to shut down freedom of speech and democracy under the name of national security by using wikileaks as an example. The guy is just itching to do it.

First of all, I would put the PFC that leaked these documents against a firing wall. Having said that, the fuss over these leaked documents upset the MSM because it makes Obama and his administration look bad, as if it could look any worse. I, too, found many things in these documents that show how unethical and corrupt the State Department under Hilary has become. You have to wonder on which side these people stand.
