President Obama cancelled anti-missile shield plans in Poland and the Czech Republic to get Russia support for UN sanctions against Iran, documents made public by Wikileaks reveal.
(snip)
The whistle blowing web site, publishing diplomatic cables and other documents via The New York Times, the Guardian (UK) and other media outlets, show that George Bushs anti-missile shield plan to station 10 interceptor rockets in Poland not far from the Kaliningrad (Russia) border and a radar system in the Czech Republic was seen as an obstacle by Washington in getting tougher sanctions against Irans nuclear ambitions.

I believe there may be something much more sinister behind the “leaks.” Look at the lefty news agencies controlling the content of what is being released.

After its own redactions, The Times sent Obama administration officials the cables it planned to post and invited them to challenge publication of any information that, in the official view, would harm the national interest. After reviewing the cables, the officials while making clear they condemn the publication of secret material suggested additional redactions. The Times agreed to some, but not all.
There are foreign outlets and (Once the DNS attacks are stopped) Wikileaks itself that will run unfiltered stuff. Of course, given the laziness of the American populace in educating themselves of real government corruption, waste, totalitarianism, and cronyism, the leaks will be “controlled” effectively (Maybe not for Hillary! though).
It’s a good thing he canceled that missile shield so those Russian sanctions eliminated the threat. What? What did you say? The sanctions were empty? Russia backed off? Iran got WHAT from the Norks? That much range, eh? An operational device when??? No hope to stop them? Smooth move, odumbo.
Is this why the President of Poland was killed in that “accidental” plane crash over Russia?
Notice that we get this news via POLAND since our own press is still in the SugarShack with Barack.
That is a MAJOR score for Obama!
I bet he was willing to give it all up for FREE!
Sheesh.

In April, U.S. congressman Peter King(R-NY) drew up a plan for the creation of an international commission to investigate the Kaczynski plane crash, but his initiative has yet to be supported by other congressmen.

The name and military rank of a Polish counterintelligence officer was included in the Wikieaks publication of US military reports from Afghanistan.
That seems to be correct.

liberals in foreign policy care only about the posturing of the moment, not actual effectiveness
so long as Obozo & co. could tell themselves that they traded the missile shield for “Russian support for sanctions on Iran” they could FEEL good
that’s all that matters for Democrat foreign policy — if it makes you feel good, do it!
