Very sorry to hear this.
Farewell Lt Drebbin
Sad, he was one of the Good Guys.
I don’t recall the connection. :-(
LOL...the scene where the guy is taking off his prosthetic and everything? Sad, but that is probably actually occurring somewhere as we speak...
Was watching it earlier today. Amazing how these things happen.

Augh. One of my favorite actors. Very sad to hear this.
Dual sided. Letterbox on side one, and the flip side had a panned version to fill the screen.
Watching the movie, I told him that I saw Nielsen on Carson, and Leslie talked about accepting his hair going white, but he thought he looked too washed out with white eyebrows, so he started dyeing them.
n November 2010, Nielsen was admitted to a Fort Lauderdale, Florida hospital for pneumonia. On November 28, Doug Nielsen, Nielsen's nephew, announced to the CJOB radio station that Nielsen had died in his sleep around 5:30 p.m. EST, surrounded by family and friends.[63][64] He stated "Today at 5:30, with his friends and his wife Barbaree by his side, he just fell asleep and passed away."[65] His nephew reflected on Nielsen's life, "He was truly a nice man. A very caring, naturally funny guy in day-to-day life, not just because someone wrote something on paper for him. He was a very tender-hearted man. He was one of my best friends and I loved him dearly. I'll miss him greatly."[66]
And don't forget An American Carol, which seemed to demonstrate that he was one of the "good" Hollywood guys!
RIP....You were one of the greats.
I saw him recently in the made for TV holiday movie “Santa Who”. The premise of the movie was that Santa did not know who he was as a result of an injury. He played the part just right and I highly recommend it for his performance. RIP Mr. Nielsen
Thanks for a thousand laughs.
A great actor. He will be missed.
Deceased? Shirley you can’t be serious.
Drebbin: Did the deceased have any enemies?
Deceased’s wife: Well, the Democrats didn’t like him.
Several others and I had ditched the after dinner speaker to watch the crowd coming in for a (alas, Democratic) fund-raiser held in an adjoining room. Mr Nielsen entered the lobby, and I shouted out, "Hey! It's Leslie Nielsen!"
He grinned, and went out of his way to come over to me. (I was a younger, thinner, woman then) He asked me if I would like his autograph. "Not if you're a damn Democrat" I replied a little too tartly. He laughed and said he was only there for the free food/drink. There's more to the story, but you will just have to wait for my autobiography...
RIP, Leslie Nielsen. Please don't hold his Democratic tendencies against him, Lord. He made us laugh....
God Bless Him! He got to make out with Priscilla Presley when she was still a beauty, that has to be worth something!
