ONE example of the terrorists’ work in Somalia. We have forgotten too much. Take a good look and tell me why all Somalis living in the US shouldn’t be deported immediately.

Well, how really is this different from the FBI arranging the meeting between an online pervert and an underage boy or girl s/he was pursuing for sex, when that underage child turns out to be an FBI agent? It’s no different at all. Those perv arrests have been upheld repeatedly in the courts.

“This can’t possibly be true....a “Christmas” Tree in Portland?!”

One of my first thoughts upon hearing the report of this was, “So now it’s back to being called a Christmas tree lighting ceremony?...”

What I would like is for the news show a simulation of what would have happened had this been real. Maps, blast area, number of casualties, etc. The reason I would like this is to help make it more real. It didn’t happen— Thank the Lord. But even though it was chilling, especially to the folks that were in the vicinity, without knowing what actually would have happened had it been real, it’s an incident that can be easily tucked away and forgotten. Even with a simulation, I suppose. But it might make it seem more real and more memorable.

It is one thing to deport illegals who deserve to go back to the country they belong to. It is completely another thing to send an entire race and ethnicity back because some people have been involved in violence and terrorism. If that were the case, everyone would be deported back, including white caucasions.

Stronger borders need to be enforced to create security. Simple as that. That first starts with the south. I don’t want to be in danger because the drug lords can’t handle their problems and keep them in Mexico.

I have Iroquois Nation Mohawk blood - I understand your point completely. I am just as furious with the toothless way we deal with immigration issues closer to home - South AND North alike. Those who are here illegally should be repatriated post haste - no exceptions.

I also think we need to be more even handed with how we “apply” the law and not single out any one particular group for removal. Drug lords and their minions are a curse and a cancer in this country and must be discouraged from bringing their poison here to kill us. Terrorists and terrorist wannbes(like this young person who tried to bomb several thousand innocent civilians into oblivion in Portland, Oregon) should be removed as quickly as possible. We should not have to bear the cost of imprisoning them. Having to pay for trials is costly enough.

Radical Islamists have declared war us personally - on our way of life and our beliefs. Their aim is to impose their Sharia laws on us all(like it or not), to wipe all Jews off the globe and anyone who supports them (that means the USA) and they don’t give a hoot how they do it, just so we all suffer and die - or convert to Islam. I don’t buy this “religion of peace” lie, not for one minute. The sooner we close our borders and ship all the miscreants (regardless of origin) who mean us ill back to where they came from, the sooner we can regain the freedom our troops died to preserve for us and our progeny, and that we lost by our lack of vigilance.

And one more thought: giving foreign criminals the same “rights” and citizens is really devaluing our citizenship.

So we understand what the problem is, but how do we go about implementing strategies to solve this. I feel too often we, on both sides (Republican and Democrat) will have their opinions on a situation, but we don’t actually ever find a means to compromise or go about solving the issues. This has been the situation regardless of who is in office.

I believe in stronger borders and stronger security. I believe America, this beautiful country can stand up to protect itself once again. The question is how? What would be a plan where we can do this? Write Congress, continually vote for the people we believe in? The motion to actually follow through and provide stronger security by creating stronger borders probably still won’t be enforced. We’ve been discussing illegal immigration for years and the fence is still not built. We may have security when we take a flight somewhere, but it took the largest terrorism attack in our nation to do so.

Any suggestions on how to actually go about implementing the strategy we believe in?

Yes, add me to your Oregon ping list. It is always good to know whether our Washington cancer is spreading to you or yours is spreading north.

I am always looking for a glimmer of hope in what we might do to defeat the dedicated Marxists that have polluted this beautiful part of the country.

I starts by taking measures to protect ourselves and our neighbors. That is how the original militia was formed - before we had a behemoth central government that took that power from us. It all starts with the individual, then the family, then the community, then the territory (state, or commonwealth if you will). Then we forge alliances and pool resources - not have them drained from DC and squandered on lavish living and back room deals with foreign powers. If we start small, it will become a wave that will cleanse our national soul.

We must not forget to recognize and deal with Native cultures as equals and not people to be shoved off onto reservations. We (the immigrants) are guests in their land of origin and we must never forget that. The way we have dealt with the tribes is coming home to roost. What ye sow, ye shall reap - and we are reaping the whirlwind. Acknowledging our wrongs and making them right is a good start to rebuilding the broken trust.

How about that?

I agree that it does start with the individual, but I also feel this is a little optimistic to believe this will really create change.

Recognizing that Native Americans are equals is very important. I completely agree that we do need to rebuild their trust, but this first begins with an apology and then with just compensation.

I do appreciate your comment. Thank you!
