This is a fair criticism of Sarah Palin - after all, our current president and vice-president never make verbal gaffes!

And this is true in all 57 states!

The media is the enemy. Period. End of story.

So far, Sarah's the only potential presidential candidate who's had the guts to take them on.

Not to worry. The media will be on Barry Hussein’s “57 states.” and “My Muslim faith” slip-ups. Wait .....they weren’t slip-ups.

Duplicitous global reporting cannot be battled when we have our own Free Republic members joining the left against Palin.

Face it....the ballot box can no longer save us.

Just like with the terrorists. We have to be right 100% of the time.

Sheesh, she’s human.

It is easy to see how someone could think North Korea is an ally when you consider the amount of time Bill Richardson, Madame Halfbright and Jimmah Cahtah spend there sucking up to the North Koreans. North Korea is Bill Richardson’s second home. Without help from Richardson, Halfbright and Cahtah, the North Koreans wouldn’t have a nuclear weapons program.

Being frank here, and I like her quite a bit, but in all honesty, she was NOT every eloquent nor specific in this give and take on the Korean Crisis.

I would leave this to her Secretary of State-designate John Bolton to feed the press with.

It is a very touchy situation right now that is immensely complex and goes back 60 years. Woe to those who tread lightly without the appropriate deep study of the Korean Peninsula strategy.

The best way for Sarah Palin to get this stuff is to COME OUT HERE.

Put on a thick duty jacket with ear muffs, a cool $400 bincular set and peer into North Korea at the south end of the MDL. She is a good listener in the field, and one day on the ground with our troops in the ROK and our South Korean allies would have her come away with a much better grasp of the issue and would be mobbing her for authographs and photos. Consider former Governor Reagan. He used so much of 1978 and 1979 to visit overseas for international prep., prior to engaging full time in 1980 domestically for the election. NOW is the time for Sarah to come to Asia, Korean Peninsula, Japan, etc. on these important study trips and coutesy calls at the highest level of Asian government and politics.

She probably doesn’t even know that our traslators in Iraq would have been better deployed in Afghanistan.

At least she wasn’t getting confused about her religion. Kinda hard to convince the American people that you are not a Muslim when you speak about your Muslim faith and have to be corrected by George Stepinafullstuff.

Palin’s greatest asset, and ours as well, is that she is in the heads of so many people. Her best service to our cause is to continue as a commentator, and someone who will stand and say things that could not be said by a president of all the people, to speak poignant truths. But I would vote for her if she runs... personally, I think she wields more power from her position as a mom and stateswoman.

Yes, I’m sure Gov Palin knows that North Korea is not our ally. But leaders and potential leaders must try to stop and think before they speak, especially when we are talking about 2 countries on the brink of war.

It is a testament to Palin's global reach and influence that such a simple slip would garner worldwide headlines and be used by her enemies here and abroad to smear her......However, the truth must be told and the media once more shamed for their duplicitious reporting.

I have stated previously that when it comes to International References Sarah might allude to she needs to be spot on as what is happening now is exactly what would occur. Media would run with it. She will not be given even an inch for common errors all other politicians make....they are out for her and it is obvious so now, even on the International Stage. It was said, "Whoever controls the media controls the world". And much truth to how they will always frame what's spoken to advance their cause....which is uniting Sovereign Countries under Global Governance. Sarah Palin is in the way of this agenda in their eyes. She is all about our Sovereignty...and so am I.

I am a huge Sarah fan. Having said that I cringed when she had this brain freeze on Beck and it is an indication that she has work to do. I do not know who is advising her but my advise would be, slow down, fully engage brain then engage mouth. Speed of response in not an indicator of thoughtfulness. Its pretty clear she hasn’t thought about the Korean issue and her answer was incoherent.

If she learns to overcome her urge to to respond, then think, she will kick their butts all the way to the white house. if not, she will be easily marginalized.

The slip of the tongue is meaningless.

The real issue is (or should be) that her response to a very specific question on an issue of global importance was sophomoric smoke and lacking any substance that would indicate a grasp of the long on-going situation.

"Stand by our allies" just doesn't cut it...not from somebody who says she could beat the incumbant.

I've called my wife by my daughter's name and vice-versa. They'll make hay out of every misstep by Palin because Palin is not controlled by the media or trained by the Washington establishment to go along with the left agenda. She's for real and on the side of the middle class and the earners.
