Orlando Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy Rips Obama (Prepare to be audited, Stan)
ESPN ^

The slower-than-expected start for the (Miami) Heat has resonated all the way to Washington, where President Barack Obama said before the game in an interview with ABC that it "takes some time for the team to come together."

Even Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, told of Obama's comments, joined in the fun.

"I know there's a lot of time in the day, but I'd be more confident if he didn't know what was going on in the NBA," Van Gundy said, chuckling about Obama's remarks. "We got to get some people back to work. I don't think he needs to be worried about turning the Heat around. Let [Heat coach] Erik [Spoelstra] worry about that, because Erik certainly isn't turning the economy around."

Van Gundy has been known to speak his mind. I expect Obama's media minions to dig up everything they can on Stan, Joe the Plumber style.

Gotta love it! Actually the coach is spot on. A president shouldn’t waste valuable time while speaking to the people and comment about basketball.

He’s cheapened and lowered the office to a point that should sadden us all. Whomever follows him is going to have a lot of work to do to repair and rehabilitate the office of the presidency.

It's a shame he put us through all of this when he really only wanted to be Keith Olberman in the first place.

Love Stan. All those liberals who work in basketball offices must be cringing.

Stan’s mockery is such a wonderfully flagrant foul against obama.

obama has lost it and he’ll never get his groove back. So more and more people will begin mocking and denouncing him in public.

At that point, we’ll be able to pull a cloward-piven against his alinskyite media: So many will be dissing him that his minions will be unable to pick a single target, freeze it, and do whatever it is that those alinskyites do. There’ll be simply too many of us to target, and thus, we’ll overwhelm their system, which will render them impotent.

You people are really, really mean spirited. The Usurper happens to give an opinion about something that he really likes to follow, and you jump all over him. Really now? He was just being real, a rare event for any usurper, but especially for The Usurper.

Don't you people realize he has appointed 44 Czars to take care of the implementation details after he sets and activates the basic Marxist-Linenist agenda/program that the country is to follow!

Let’s let Erik and Barack trade places then for the next two years. I don’t know how Erik could be any worse, and I don’t even know him.

What was it Obama said, “I’m LeBron baby. I can play at this level”. His narcissism probably makes him think he could be an NBA coach. More diminishing of presidency.

That is what I have been saying. He can resign, with the understanding that he can have David Stern job or a high spot at ESPN. It really seems like it would suit his interests. While we can give the Presidency to someone that it suits their interests.

Must be something in the water in the Orlando/Gainesville area. Both Billy Donovan (Men’s basketball coach) and Urban Meyer (football coach) voted Republican.

Article says Gundy “joined in fun” and was chuckling. That’s is pure BS by abc. Watch the video. He was pissed and rightfully so.
