If the Times Square bomber had successful, would you be okay with TSA officers pulling people out of their cars at roadblocks and doing the same thing they are doing now? And fining them $11,000 for non-compliance?

Nope. And the entire TSA crap is crap. And most of what the Fedgov does is unconstitutional and if it takes a crashed economy to undo it all, fine with me.
If they want Muzzies not to bomb or crash planes, then let Muzzies fly on all-Muzzie planes with Muz pilots and they cannot fly over any cities. Or better yet, get rid of all mosques and Muzzies who like jihad. And no more let it.
And if getting rid of mosques seems mean, okay, they can only preach [sic] in English, and FBI minders have to sit in on every session and record them.

Signs at the airports now warn that complaints, remarks or jokes, while being molested, 'may be grounds for both criminal and civil penalties."
unruly citizen 'verbally abusing' poor officer whose 'only following orders."
Stop it now or line up for the cattle cars

During my time on active duty in the Vietnam era, one organization under scrutiny was the Navy SERE schools. You were captured and beat up crossing a field Sunday evening and curred out in a corrugated metal box until noon the next day. Next the instructors in black pajamas brought you out and raised the VC flag. Things went downhill from there for a week. After too many one week classes in a row excesses could show up with instructors. Open hand slaps and waterboarding was always OK.

Sure, they can stop me, ask me to get out of the car, and search it... but they won't have reasonable cause, and have no right to touch me. That would be simple assault (and probably battery if it goes down the way I forsee the incident).
Sure, they can violate my 4th amendment rights all they want...

With some minor refinements. I think it’s done and ready for illustration:
Not on a bus,
Not on a train,
Not in my socks,
Not for the plane.
I do not like it here or there. I do not like it anywhere.
I do not like it Jan I Am, I do not like your naked Scan.

Sorry about what you were subjected to - especially on top of everything else involved in fighting a war. That's not easy.
You gained some important insights - not a lot of consolation, I'm sure. But it helps with this issue.
The problem with the TSA is it's not a one week 'game'. The next rational step ( after putting the kibosh on folks protesting screening procedure ) is to make rules that strengthen their power over their victims.
Big Sis has started - with things like you can't just walk out of the airport if you can't take it... Also she wants to extend totalitarian bullying to buses and trains. We're a very few steps away from check-points between cities... These are red flags. You know the direction - I know the direction. There are better solutions that will keep citizens safe.
