Really? So a decline in the demand for dollars, which will be a result of this new direction, will have no impact on the value of our currency? While it likely won't produce an immediate, drastic change; it can be the beginning of a very bad trend.
It’s not my analysis it’s Krugman’s from earlier this year. The problem with a lot of the analysis that is out there right now is that it looks at Fed policy with a one sided view. China it trying to jump in the air and stay their despite gravity. Gravity much like reality usually work under principles that are not always advantageous to either political policy or human desire. They may actually succeed in becoming the leper with the most remaining digits but duct tape only gets you so far.

The way so-called “conservatives” so easily dismissed the BC issue is nightmareish. Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, FOX News, Karl Rove, et. al., all take the lion’s share of the blame, the way I see it.
Now we’re seeing the fruits of their ‘go along, get along’ policy si as not to antagonize the left. And now, even now, while we face the abyss, none of them even suggest that maybe we should revisit the BC issue.

Sorry to tell you but this forum is NOT the only place that thinks this is significant. I first heard about this yesterday from a 20-year old who knows nothing about this website. And yes, he was alarmed.
There’s plenty of things FOX doesn’t seem to have the time or the inclination to report. They may be ‘fair and balanced’, but they fall way short on keeping us abreast on the real issues facing us. And that includes bafoons like O’Reily.
Maybe you should do some research on the people who not only do think this is important, but examine their track record as well. Thanks.
This appears to be the worst thing that could happen to the US, but I hope that with the HOUSE changing majority it has come at the best possible time.

Ignorant, divided, greedy, decedent and rejecting God/morals with no concept of duty and country anymore, this once great United States of America is in it's waining years throwing away all those virtues that made it grow to the economic, political, military power and social trend setter it is. Caution Will Rogers. Drudge has a fine history of being the breaking point of more major news events than all of the "Networks" combined. True, he does change the titles of the articles when he ads the links to his website. But, in my opinion most of the time "his titles" make more sense than the twisted garbage titles that AP generally uses."
