What the TSA should be doing is not racial profiling, but personality profiling. The problem with that is you need someone with brains to carry it out.

Pilot = most dangerous person on aircraft; can crash the aircraft.

Flight Attendant = 2nd most dangerous person on aircraft due to access to cockpit.

3 out of 4 times I have flown since 9?11 I have been puulled aside for PROLONGED wanding and I have never caused the metal detector door to go off...

I take my watch off and putit in a bin, I dont wear a belt or jewellery or anything else that could cause it to buzz...

I dont have change or anything else in my pockets...

I wear jeans with elastic instead of a zip...

You name it I’ve done it as a precaution...

I’m polite and cooperative and patient and obedient...

My 3 ozes and plastic bags are regimental...

and yet I get PROFILED to be wanded...

so its not because we cause the door to buzz...

Its because we are PROFILED as non-Moslem...

Dont you think there would be a swift law suit if a Moslem was wanded ???

Flight attendants are exempt only from the scanner due to frequent flying.

However, they must go through the metal detector and if it goes off, are subjected to the pat down.

Explain to us how real profiling works. I think that lots of us are confused as to how profiling of people at greater risk of being terrorists really works. It seems as if, up to now, everyone is considered an equal risk of blowing up the plane, because we don’t want to do any profiling. Maybe I’m mistaken.
