John Pistole, the head of the Transportation Security Administration, is warning angry airplane passengers that protesting at screening checkpoints will slow down lines and could irritate other fliers.
Theres some unknowns, in terms of how many people may decide to protest, Pistole said on ABCs Good Morning America of protesters plans to opt out of screening on Wednesday. And that's one of the variables that we are prepared to deal with. But the bottom line is that if the number of people protest at a particular checkpoint, it will definitely slow things down.

Think "Soros"
The American Public should warn this two-but dictator puppett of the Muslim Marxist that this is still a Democracy and the government and its officers are servants of the public and answerable to them.
The only fair and effective way to deal with terrorism is to target potential terrorists and that means MUSLIMS, not Buddhists, Christians, Hindus and Jews.
So he should get his head out of that bag of political correctness, stop harassing and humiliating and delaying with normal American citizens and direct his buearocartic NAZIs to profile Muslims flying on commercial planes and let the rest of us off easy.
This pervert is only worried for our families getting together for the holiday. That is why he must sexually molest and take porn pictures of innocent men, women and children. He’s like America’s Santa! Love is hate and safety is Federal terrorism.
Not satisfied with their utter failure, the TSA has now embarked upon a more ambitious program of what in any other circumstance would be considered sexual assault, imposed upon those who refuse to allow themselves to be scanned by a machine that not only shows them virtually naked, but which has been scientifically demonstrated to destroy healthy strands of human DNA.
So, the TSA's own War on Terror is over. Having failed in its mission to profile, distinguish and capture real security threats, the agency's leadership did the only thing they could short of admitting defeat: they made terrorists of us all.
Quickly switched over to CNN where Jane Maserve was reporting from Reagan (Washington DC). There again, very light passenger load. Jane, however, kept up the TSA line: a recent poll said 91% of the American public have no problem with the new screening procedures, blah blah blah. Democrap shill. But since CNN is the only channel in US airports, I'm wondering what the reaction is to the broadcast within the terminal, past TSA screening.
But who does it hurt? The TSA? Those agents are there for 8 hours and then they go home. The only ones inconvenienced will be holiday travellers who will be stuck standing in long lines...many of whom will probably miss flights. I think tjhis slow down is a dumb idea...talk about cutting off one's nose to spite their face.
No, Pistole, WE warn YOU.
The company that owns Rapiscan is OSI Systems Inc., whose stock value has appreciated considerably during the past year.
Care to guess who owns 11,300 shares of OSI?
Neither the TSA or the airlines can afford any major delays, especially during the busy holidays. The airlines can’t afford it financially. The TSA can’t afford it because they risk being the cause of an all out riot and heads will roll starting at the top. This time of year, it will take very little to set off already stressed passengers and it will hit the fan.
Another consideration is right before the TSA loses complete control, they’ll be trying to rush through the more cooperative passengers just to keep the line moving. That’s the time the ones with the bombs will slip past.
S_R_S.
I'd like to buy a vowel please, Pat.
The "I'm a man of the people. just one of you folks" baloney is a tough sell for Louie and Marie.
And Americans keeping letting them grope our wives, daughters and grandchildren.
You have to wonder about a man who gave up what should be an honorable and prestigious career position with the FBI to take on this idiotic job. It is as if the director of engineering for a major aerospace company gave it up to become head of the repair division for tinker toys. Unless he got a push.
The guy does look good in a suit.
This guy was on the O’Reilly Factor last night. Of course the Bloviator apologized profusely for mentioning the word “profiling” in a question he threw at Pistole with his usual phony mano-a-mano delivery—but then prevented Pistole from responding by immediately answering his own question with the comment that the TSA would consider “profiling” a dirty word. Then he went on to address the guy as “Mister Pistol”, as in the gun. One of the few times the Bloviator has actually made me laugh—instead of cry. Meanwhile no one asks the TSA the hard questions, like when are they going to start screening for terrorists and profiling, instead of screening for harmful objects, and abrogating the Constitutional rights of the American flying public.
DING! DING! DING! No more calls please: we have a winner.
Also, he’s covering his butt. He can claim things were slow due to protestors even if there aren’t any and things are slow because of normal TSA feel-ups.
not any more. S-R-S sold out.. Wonder if he knows something we don’t?
Sans underwear...
pgkdan: “I think this slow down is a dumb idea...”
The government openly defies the Constitution’s 4th Amendment, and you would have us do what, wait years for it to work its way through courts that are stacked with big government leftists?
How will this change anything? It will only make travelling even more of a nightmare for other citizens. Stupid. There are far more effective ways to make a point.
