WASHINGTON (AP) - With one of the year's busiest traveling days fast approaching, the Obama administration's top transportation security official on Monday urged passengers angry over safety procedures not to boycott airport body scans.
John Pistole said in nationally broadcast interviews he understands public concerns about privacy in the wake of the Transportation Security Administration's tough new airline boarding security checks.
But at the same time, he said a relatively small proportion of the 34 million people who have flown since the new procedures went into effect have had the body pat downs that have come under withering criticism in recent days.

So this joker claims that "a relatively small proportion" of fliers have been subjected to government intrusions of a personal kind and that makes it alright? I don't think so.

John Pistole?
Did we vote for him?
What is his relationship(s) to the individuals and companies
that make these devices?
When will we be told what the ionizing radiation
exposure is to an individual from these machines?

So Pistole thinks it’s OK to to have the Camel’s nose under the edge of the tent, and the Camel’s butt inside the tent!?
I think he has that backwards.
Get the Camel the “H” outta the tent.

He made the claim the other day that it was making us safer. He said with a smile, as he talked about the ink cartridges in the printer that were explosive. Never mind that had nothing to do with molesting passengers and virtual strip searches that would have never found the printer bomb.

If everyone did this, the system would collapse. Think of every man in the line, having a little Jingle Bell tied to his winkie.
There are a lot of winkies in the airport, so let’s have the TSA examine each and every one - and let the chaos ensue. I consider this a form of civil disobedience.

They don't like it one bit.

They will use any excuse for the intrusion. And I believe that this is to see how much the American public will put up with.

I agree!!!! I’d do it in a heartbeat. What are they going to do? It’s completely perverse, sick, stupid, immoral, unAmerican and completely uncalled for.

I consider this a form of civil disobedience. It certainly is but I'd bet they'd lash back somehow. Maybe with charges of "hindering a government agent in the performance of their duties" or some such nonsense.
