So. What may the Iranians have now (domestic, imported) that might be capable of a torpedo tube launch?

From what I know that is a bit dated, and not classified, they only have an older Soviet style missile capable of submarine launch but have no subs to launch them.

These would be vertical launched and not from torpedo tubes.

What did the Japanes military think the Americans had to launch an air raid on the Japanese mainland when Jimmy Doolittle did it?

I think low tech may be the new high tech when it comes to terrorist WMD deployment ingenuity. These were the guys who turned airliners into guided missiles and took down the WTC and almost 1/5 of the Pentagon..

Think of some civilian vessel, like a cargo ship or barge conversion or adaptation? Or a one-way mission to paradise for mini-sub crew? We still don’t know (publicly) how the Nk’s sunk that South Korean wessel - or why - do we?
