Sliding silently under the mud, muck and fog of national politics, is a current event that makes Bill Clintons excursion into the world of elderly sex look tame in comparison. This time the nations national security is truly threatened in my opinion, and it involves not only a weak president with limited problem-solving ability, but leadership at the highest levels in the Pentagon as well. The American people would do well to demand a full investigation by an unbiased group, and let the chips fall where they may.
I am referring to the missile shot taken off the California coast recently, and the lame response by NORAD, the Pentagon and the White House itself.
(snip)
In my opinion, there is absolutely no doubt that what was captured on video off the coast of California was a missile launch, was clearly observed by NORAD, assessed by a four-star general within minutes, and passed to the president immediately. That is the way the system works, and heads fall if there is a failure. This is one of the most important tenets of national defense and its sole purpose of protecting the American people. Even the smallest failure in this system gets intense scrutiny at the highest level.
Now, the question that still must be answered is why NORADs muted response was simply that North America was not threatened, and later our government approved the lame excuse that the picture recorded was simply an aircraft leaving a contrail. This decision was made far above the four-star level, and because the system in place demands it, was made by the president himself.

I respect your views. I respect Jim Cash, though I believe he’s off-base here, just as McInerney was.
So let me ask you three questions, and even if you think it’s still a missile, maybe you’ll understand why I’m certain it’s a jet.
1. China’s SLBM’s are two stage, ours are three stage. Yet we have no evidence of a stage separation on the video, in Warren’s stills or in eyewitness accounts. How can that be?
2. Warren’s last photo was taken approximately five miuntes after “launch.” By this time an SLBM would be in space and hundreds of miles downrange. Yet he was able to photograph it with a $900 off-the-shelf Nikon and no long lens. How can this be? (BTW, if you haven’t seen Warren’s photos, let me know and I’ll point you to them.)
3. Why is the “bottom” portion of the object’s trail smeared so badly in the photo in post 166? Wouldn’t that require high winds, the sorts of winds that smear contrails at high altitudes every day?
I 'fess up: I think I did somewhere on one of these earlier threads, thinking that "Huey" would imply that it was one of those big military helicopters. I am NO expert in identifying types of military aircraft, but I can tell the difference between a civilian or news helicopter and a big military one. The one in that clip looks a lot like one of the big military choppers that I've often seen fly overhead (often on groups of three or four) over the years.
That was my point that you clearly were disputing above. lol...
The rest of your post appears to be....Well...lol
I suggest that you not post here if you don't want to be challenged.
Now pull your panties out of your crack.
Go look for yourself, Silver. The RN stuff is all over google. Are you that incompetent?
Ah, then it should be very easy for you, the evidencemeister, to show me, the flailer, up. You made the claim, you support it. If you won't, that will tell me something. Oh, BTW, I looked. That's why I'm challenging you, because I either missed it or you're slinging BS.
Lol. I've seen some here refer to it as a Cessna. Flying backwards, no doubt. But I never saw anyone refer to it as a huey.
Using Google you can find several instances of Freepers saying it looks like a Huey. You're not too incompetent to do that, are you? But really, you're sidestepping the main point: Your theory that the Navy was going after a sub that had launched an SLBM depends on the Navy, despite having hundreds of Seahawks and Oceanhawks that perform brilliantly, secretly putting a dipping sonar on a Chinook. Shaky as a hammock in an earthquake.
Bring evidence or go home, sparky. Jinking around the sky is not good enough.
I base my opinion on many years of photographing and digitally imaging objects in the sky, here in S. CA. using a remote controlled, computer operated optical observatory.
How about you?
Well, they are building their own diesel eletrics now. We don't know if AIP equipped. But the Club-K can be fired from a torpedo tube as well as from containers. And there is a huge range of Iranian missiles, some of which may be able to be fired from a tube and carry a significant payload.
So you are that incompetent, or you are what I suspect. Go to h*ll.
And I agree, in part because the angle of the setting sun negates any claim that it could be illuminating an eastbound object.
Where is a link to info about the RN evaluating the Chinook for ASW?
Where is an explanation of how the photo you posted is evidence of a stage separation? What part of the photo indicates it is happening? You should at least be able to tell me that, right?
Where is you explanation of how a guy with a $900 Nikon can photograph an SLBM at T+5:00?
Where is your debunking of the UPS 902 evidence?
I'm seeing plenty of insults, but no evidence. I'm the evil planeloader shill, you're the evidencemeister. Show me.
Plan on answering my question about camera optics?
$900 Nikon. SLBM five minutes into flight. How?
For the record, NORAD said:
We can confirm that there is no threat to our nation, and from all indications this was not a launch by a foreign military."
For those of us in California who have seen the launches from Vandenberg, there was no question of the source of the contrail. We have some of the busiest air traffic and that was no airplane. Or weather balloon for that matter.
Same secrecy as the top top secret plane that was tested over our area back in the day that had a pulse blast. Yeah, that didn’t exist either.
When I was stationed in Germany, we knew that they Army was testing something in the water on base, because we itched everytime after showering. The Germans had no problem. Only those on the base (kaserne).
That's amazing. No wonder he didn't put his full resume under the article. It's longer than his entire op-ed.
Your Nikon? Your shots? You know the image is what it is claimed to be ... how?
You can throw in red herrings and other photos purported to be this or that 'til the cows come home.
The cameraman shot footage of a north-west-bound missile and there is a sophisticated effort afoot to persuade people that it was an east-bound UPS flight. The angle of the setting sun and how it illuminates the plume shows that it was on a north-west heading.
I don't lend any credence to photos OTHER than the video.
I didn't see that on the General's resume. Nor was the source of this op-ed a blog. Good skills of observation you have there.
Absolutely!
Title : Stability of Spinning ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) in First Stage Boost Phase.Corporate Author : AIR FORCE INST OF TECH WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB OH SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
Abstract : A computer program is developed to model a spinning intercontinental Ballistic Missile (IICBM) during the first stage boost phase. The equations of motion are derived and presented and a full rotation matrix is used to show the relationship between a launch-centered, nonrotating earth inertial reference frame and the missile body reference frame.
Subject Categories : SURFACE-LAUNCHED GUIDED MISSILES
This op-ed isn't about evidence. You ought to read it.
