The U.S. Travel Association set up the website, YourTravelVoice.org, after it received more than 1,000 unsolicited comments from travellers about the increased security following recently foiled bomb plots involving U.S. bound parcels.
"It was clear to us that there was some national concern about this issue. We are hoping that this website can help people express those views so we can all work together," said Geoff Freeman, the executive vice president of the trade group.
He added that he hopes feedback from the website can provide a platform through which travellers can share their opinions with policy makers in Washington.

They're kidding, right? (NS,S) They'd better be prepared to have the site crash.
After I sailed from Manila to Shanghi, China, I came ashore. When I got back I noticed a begger near my craft and I yelled “Don’t touch my Junk!”
They’d better be prepared to have the site crash due to overuse, I may add.
I think it already has.
“Join the discussion on Facebook at facebook.com/yourtravelvoice and tag your tweets with #travelvoice. We will share your insights with the Obama Administration, Congress and the travel industry. “
>> and I yelled Dont touch my Junk!
Nor your poop.
Yeah, I bet they will. Sometimes it's safer to keep ones opinion to oneself. Although, it would be funny if someone just linked to that Japanese parody of the TSA using a fake name, of course.
A government website to voice concerns about the burgeoning police state. How warm and fuzzy.
Does this ever make any of you wonder if this was launch to appease the perverts, and militant gays fantasies?
How many of those TSA workers who might be bi sexual, SS, pedophilias or just deviates.
Should children be exposed to this kind of behavior which might be enticement?

I hope you had better luck than explorer Richard Halliburton did with his Junk!
Maybe someone needs to leave a comment that the search is NOT sufficiently thorogh, they should do a rectal exam on all travelers — after all a terrorist tried to blow up a Saudi prince with a bomb in his recturm
Saudi bombmaker, who armed his own brother for suicide try on prince, tied to U.S. campaign

“A Saudi bombmaker has been identified as the mastermind of Al Qaida’s latest campaign against the United States.
In September 2009, Al Asiri was said to have designed a bomb inserted in the rectum of his brother and meant to kill Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Prince Mohammed Bin Nayef, deemed the architect of Riyad’s counter-insurgency program. The bomb killed Al Asiri’s younger brother, Abdullah, and the Saudi official was slightly injured, Middle East Newsline reported.
Al Asiri was said to have developed methods of assembling tiny bombs with PETN, or pentaerythritol tetranitrate. Officials said the two parcel bombs, sent from Yemen and seized in Britain and the United Arab Emirates on Oct. 28, contained PETN and lead azide. The parcels were said to have escaped initial detection by U.S. investigators. “
Whole Body Scanners: Would They Have Detected the Detroit Bomb?
Jan 5, 2010
“The new millimeter-wave body scanners soon to be deployed in airports throughout the United States would not have detected the explosive device smuggled aboard Northwest Flight 253 on Christmas Day by Umar Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian man reportedly trained by a Yemen-based al-Qaeda terrorist cell to destroy the plane over Detroit.
According to a report recently released by firms in the United Kingdom that have tested the hi-tech scanners, the chemical explosive carried by Abdulmutallab in his underwear would not have shown up had he passed through a scanner due to the low density of the material. In the analysis, experts warn that despite the nearly universal mandate by government officials to install the scanners in the wake of the thwarted terrorist attempt in Detroit, liquids, chemicals, and plastics are too low in density to be picked up by the waves used in the scanners, and only more traditional weapons (knives, guns, etc.) hidden under the clothing are effectively revealed by the devices.”
I just gave ‘em a piece of my mind. Said they should concentrate on the enemies of western civilization, ie, the people that have been terrorizing the West for 30 years now. In other words, focus on muslims, not white grandmas and infants and middle aged business men.
It’s been nice knowing you FRiends. I expect a knock on the door tonight.
German citizens concerned about the recently passed Enabling Acts are encouraged to voice their concerns in person at Prinz-Albrecht-Straße 8, Berlin.
It seems it’s a site put up by the “Travel Association”, they have government relations, but don’t appear to be an actual government organization.
You couldn’t get me to click that link for all the money in the world, and right now...I could use some money.
Ain’t gonna happen.
SmartInsight: “Maybe someone needs to leave a comment that the search is NOT sufficiently thorough...”
That was a smart insight. TSA claims the nude body scanners are necessary. If we accept their premise, then how come the vast majority of passengers are still using the standard metal detectors? TSA only randomly selects a small percentage for the nude scanners, and only those who refuse the scanner receive the pat downs. If the nude scanners aren’t yet available all airports, TSA MUST do pat downs on all passengers at those airports...for security’s sake. Otherwise, passengers from the “unsecure” airports, those without the scanners, will join “secure” passengers at the airline hubs.
In the interest of security, ALL (100%) passengers, crew, maintenance workers, TSA employees, government officials, etc., must submit to the nude scanner OR undergo the genital grope! If a nude scanner isn’t available, genital gropes are MANDATORY. Additionally, if a body cavity or surgically implanted bomb can bring down an aircraft, I submit TSA is negligent if they don’t conduct body cavity (and internal x-ray if necessary) searches of ALL passengers.
Just posted this at the site, hopefully it is somewhat coherent, (I was a bit worked up :))
We know who the terrorists are. The TSA knows who the terrorists are, but in a heroic effort to appear PC, and at all costs, avoid hurting the feelings of people of a particular religious or ethnic persuasion, the government that purports to protect the citizens of the United States is treating us like criminals instead.
Body scans of pilots and flight attendants? This crowning act of stupidity has destroyed any meager shred of credibility that the TSA may have had in the past.
Patting down 87 year old grandmothers and 5 year old children? What are you thinking?
Terrorists fit a particular profile, and my grandmother and my child are light years away from this profile. I am light years away from this profile.
I have come to accept the ritual of scanning my items going through security, but this new naked scanner and aggressive pat down is a stunning abridgment of my 4th amendment rights which protect me against unreasonable search and seizure
If you have a case to make that these security measures are necessary for our safety then you need to make it. To date you have not, and in my estimation you have not made it because you have no case to make.
The alternative is simple, If there have been ZERO acts of terrorism perpetrated by American citizens to date then why not look first for non citizens. If 100 percent of terrorist acts have been perpetrated by Muslims then look at them second, if the terrorist fits an age profile then look at that as well.
Your elaborate PC kabuki dance fools no one. You serve we the people we do not serve you, and giving up our constitutional rights is not acceptable under any circumstances. Use some intelligence, come up with a system that does not persecute the very citizens that you pretend to protect. Stop this charade now!
