On Saturday, Hill made his second trip to Dallas this year, this time to open up to the world.

0811,
> “As a former Marine (who qualified Expert four times w/ M14) I totally disagree.” <
I have the same Rifle Qualifications as you, but with an M16A2 and I agree with you.
Oswald qualified as a “Marksman.” There is NO WAY he squeezed off three shots in seven seconds and much less hit anything.
Plus, the frontal head shot to Kennedy says it all!
“Oswald was a below average shot with a crappy gun.”
That is a blatant lie.
> “Oswald was a below average shot with a crappy gun.” <
I think you, 0811 and I are on the same page. See my Post #81.
I would say that during Rifle Qualifications, Oswald probably got a lot of “Maggie’s Drawers.”
I am much more interested in who dropped the ball and let a Kenyan be President, than in who shot Kennedy.
Kennedy is History, we still have to deal with a Muslim in the White House.
I heard that also the driver of the car was the hit man.
That was really stretching it.
Ditter,
21 DEC 1956: Weapons test
Range: [unreadable] Course: [unreadable]
Weapon: M1 Final Qualification: 212 MM
I googled “Lee Harvey Oswald USMC Rifle Qualification” and got the above. It’s in his record.
He qualified with an M1 with a score of 212, ie “Marksman.”
He couldn’t hit the target if he threw the rifle at it.
Right you are but some folks here prefer to believe otherwise. They got the word from NPR and the “believe”.
Now tell them what a crappy gun he was shooting.
Sure, and Kennedy's brain brain had to disappear because the "magic bullet" is fiction.
For Oswald the 6.5x52mm Mannlicher-Carcano was adequate for his purpose.
“The one real virtue of the M-91 is that it was a fast to operate. Perhaps this was partly because the action was not real tight, and partly due to the Mannlicher design. But for whatever reason, the bolt slid very easily and very fast in its recess. A buddy of mine owned an M-91 Carbine, and I remember it as being the fastest bolt action military rifle I ever cycled. Practically anyone, with a minimum of practice, could shoot a Mannlicher-Carcano rifle quickly.”
“During his Marine Corps service in December 1956, Oswald scored a rating of sharpshooter (twice achieving 48 and 49 out of 50 shots during rapid fire at a stationary target 200 yards [183 m] away using a standard issue M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle).
“Military experts, after examining his records, characterized his firearms proficiency as “above average” and said he was, when compared to American civilian males of his age, “an excellent shot.”
You’re entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.
I’d like to have asked these agents why they all pulled back from the car just seconds before the shots were fired...This gave the shooter(s) a clear shot at Kennedy...
Thanks for the info on him. What freaked my wife and me was that the mob could have decided to whack everyone at the party if they wanted to get this guy really bad.
Our neighbor came to the house and told us that she was questioned by I believe the SS but could have been FBI as this was one of the spots he had been at recently and the friendship with her father.
Actually when I met him he was in a chair with sunglasses on inside the house and I thought he was probably a blind old man who couldn’t get up to shake hands. Little did I know who he was.
Whatever the case, we know the results of what appears as a 'shadow war' going on for power at it's highest levels.

FYI, I am not into this conspiracy stuff and have never bought a book or sat through a movie or TV show on the subject.
However, for the past decade, I worked with a man who was a Navy Seal attached to the CIA in the early 1960’s. He was very well connected into the intelligence community until his death (heart attack while riding a motorcycle) last year. We were in Houston on a business trip a few years ago and the JFK assassination came up in conversation. For some odd reason, he began to tell me the whole Bay of Pigs and assassination story from the CIA’s perspective. I acknowledge that he could have been telling a campfire story, but, mid way through the story,he had an angina attack and put a nitroglycerin patch on. After telling me the story, he closed his eyes and went through some calming breathing exercises. We got home OK.
He said that the CIA encouraged Oswald to shoot Kennedy and gave Oswald some key timing data on the pathway Kennedy would travel that day.
In order to make it easier for Oswald, the CIA planted the “Umbrella Man” and equipped his umbrella with a silent gun loaded with a flechette filled with a paralyzing agent. The man opened the umbrella and fired the flechette at Kennedy's throat. Kennedy grasped at his throat and became paralyzed. Oswald then shot at a relatively stiff target.

BTW, my friend said there was no second shooter and that part of the above link story is wrong. Oswald shot alone, but was assisted by the CIA.
The “magic bullet” has nothing whatsoever to do with Kennedy’s brain — in the Warren commission’s version of events or the conspiracy theories. It wasn’t the head shot. It’s the bullet that passed through Kennedy’s neck and Connally’s wrist.
This has been hashed out for almost half a century by an immense number of people. If you’re going to wade in, at least know the basics first.
96 replies...........hey....you are right..”we” don’t care much about this subject......hahaha......(I love when people start saying “we”....like are the official spokesperson for everyone else)
read “Six Seconds in Dallas”, there are several good books that do bring up serious questions.
