Glenn Beck said today that he has spoken to military experts about the mystery contrail from a few weeks ago and he says it’s definitely not a plane, but rather a two stage missile. He just wants to know where it came from, and he has a theory. Beck postulates that this missile was possibly from a Chinese sub off the coast of California, perhaps as a show of force to the world, but even more so to President Obama.

Digging into trying to find out who contrailscience’s owner is, I had no luck in finding out “WHO” they were to be able to be so called credible??

Within the video, the poster links to a second contrail the following day - "here on Nov 9 roughly at the same time."
What strikes me as being strange is how important it is to so many newbies here on Free Republic to label this particular incident as benign.
The similarity and repitition matches up with the KCBS camera man’s (who took the Nov 9 video) statement:
“”Well, I realized that it was something that we saw earlier from the week before — we saw something very similar the past Thursday, and immediately I realized that it was something very similar…”
Why degrade his choice of Faith or blame a greed for the money he earns? We know all those whose rating numbers suffer because of him, hate him and hate as well, the 'light of day' he drags them into.
(Personally, think his 'Libertarianism' wittingly or unwittingly too often feeds 'third Party MO's - and that bothers me. And then there is is too often, damning equivacations between Repubs and Democrats. His spiritual proselytizing bothers me as well. Other than that; appreciate his messaging 'many'.)
One thing for sure, Glenn is not the Sandman. . .he is trying to clean up after him, however.
Actually, the exact words of cameraman Gil Leyvas in this CBS 2 TV Los Angeles news broadcast of Nov. 9, regarding the object Leyvas filmed on Nov. 8:"It was unique, it was moving, it was growing in the sky. As I zoomed in I used a two-times extender on the lens to get a closer look, and you could tell that the object, whatever it was, was spriraling up in the sky. You could see the clouds were kind of swirling and as I zoomed in and got tighter on it, it appeared that it was spinning and going in a westerly direction.
"Well, I realized that it was something that we saw earlier from the week before -- we saw something very similar the past Thursday, and immediately I realized that it was something very similar, and called on the 2-way there to our assignment desk to let them know that we were seeing it again. It's not as dramatic as the one from yesterday -- the one from yesterday was pretty spectacular. Like I said, it was growing in nature and continued to fly up into the sky, and at one point it seemed to separate. The smoke or the plume seemed to stop and then continue further up in the sky and then finally disappear."

And.. was it unique or very similar to what he saw one week earlier? The only reasonable conclusion is it was very similar but more spectacular. Was it a missile a week earlier as well?
Suffice it to say that no matter what is on that video CBS has acted irresponsibly given the public reaction. Creating confusion Rather than informing seems to be the media's main occupation and SeeBS is at the forefront in the field.
What's so different about it?

Maybe, through Beck or not, there is some way to pressure KCBS to release the whole shoot?
It didn’t look in any way similar to me.
1. It is completely illuminated instead of darkened on one side.
2. When the camera is zoomed back in each the first creates a much bigger profile in the sky and is thicker by comparison.
3. The second one makes a wide turn to the viewer's left as a plane coming in across Catalina should instead of arcing to the right.
4. The second one shows clear separate contrails for the multiple engines of an airplane.
5. The first goes down to the horizon, the second is entirely above and the tail of the contrail doesn't even look like it's pointing down to the horizon.
I don’t understand what you’re seeing as not in any way similar? All three look basically the same to me.
FWIW, the guy shot this from Mission Viejo he says. That’s unfortunate in that it would help to see it from a radically different angle which this is not.
Also unfortunately, the plane hypothesis says it would not look nearly as dramatic, or have the same vertical perspective illusion when seen from a very different angle.
That's a thought. I'll bet he's too busy with all of his projects but he might. It would take a bunch of us FReeping Beck to get him to do it and right now there doesn't seem to be much cohesion here on this subject.
I might not have made that last point very clearly.
If we had a video of the event from a very different angle and it seems close to the same - a vertical trajectory - that’s evidence in favor of the missile hypothesis. If the trajectory is much more horizontal, that’s in favor of the plane hypothesis.
I think both sides of the issue share a strong desire to see the whole shoot. Now if we could keep our emotions in check long enough to push for a shared goal...
