I’m really getting tired of her. She reminds me of Obama in his first months in office—always seeking media attention.
This favoritism is beyond words. One knows his enemy by reputation, claims, dress, attitude and history of violence. We know who they are and their plans and it’s us or them and it sure as hell shouldn’t be us.
With that comes HUGE responsibility......and power. I believe Sarah is very aware of that and thus far has managed it well.
And if she were still in a position of political power you know very well that she would not have anywhere near the latitude to say what she says now without demands for apologies from all sides.
Looks like Gondring is a RomneyZombie. "Palin sux. Palin is a qwitter. Palin has no karaktur. Etc., etc., etc."
Just like a seminar caller to Rush. "I used to be a Republican, but..."
It drives the RomneyZombies wild!!!
And you, 9YearLurker, are a flat-out liar and libelist.
That's not a personal attack...it's a fact based on your claim about me.
But stick your head in the sand and continue to talk out your butt and show everyone that you have little regard for the truth.
By the way, I'm curious...when was your first post about Sarah Palin? Why would someone with such a liberal view of dishonesty want to post on a conservative forum?
He needs to invest in a clue.
If we don’t profile dangerous looking people, i.e. arabs, then what is the point?
You can hide a lot under a burka. Should we all buy burkas for use in traveling.
Is there some government penalty for wearing a burka if you can’t prove you are actually a muslim?
If not, Janet has her work cut out for her.
There are many people who need to be called out and far too few people willing to do it.
What do you expect Sarah to do?
I don’t believe you were ever a big fan of hers or you wouldn’t make such a ridiculous statement.
That's because she's developing a base of knee-jerks who just want to be fed red meat and not have to think. It's to her rich and give her influence, not to help vote totals or provide real solutions.
I find it tragically humorous to hear those who scream for El Al screenings, knowing that if TSA had actually instituted them, many of them would be the first screaming about the offensive questioning and banning from flights.
But the Palinites (the personality cultists, as opposed to those who support her views and perhaps her candidacy) are afraid that their views can't stand up to rational discussion, and insist on just spouting off and insulting others. Pathetic, really.
Oh, the seminar caller comeback; how droll. But since our mistakes live forever on the internet, here’s one of mine. For weeks afterward, copies of this showed up at McCain rallies all over the place. Now, like the ex-Obama fan who created that stupid red and blue poster, I’ve just got to live with it.

See my reply at #52.
Let's see...
This guy doesn't look like an Arab...no need to check him...
John Phillip Walker Lindh
Born in USA (Washington, DC)
Baptized (Roman Catholic Church)
Raised in USA (Maryland and California)
(BAD GUY!
Joined the Taliban)
How about this guy...
Humayun Saqib Muazzam Khan
Born United Arab Emirates
Pakistani heritage
NOT Terrorist... told his men to "hit the dirt" and stopped suicide bombers himself
This guy doesn't look Arab...guess he's okay to go without a second glance...
Richard C. Reid
British citizen, born in south London
British mother, Jamaican father
TERRORIST
Pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) [same high-explosive reported for the Detroit incident, a type favored by many terrorist instructors] with a triacetone triperoxide (TATP) detonator was found in his shoe after was caught trying to blow up the plane he was on.
Oooh...but watch out for this one... Sudanese...hmmm...
Ayman Abdelrahman Taha
Sudanese-born, son of Abdel Rahman and Amal Ali Taha
(GOOD Guy... US Special Forces, doctoral candidate UMass.)
How about...
Kareem Rashad Sultan Khan
Son of Feroze Khan
(NOT Terrorist...
Age 14 on 9/11
Enlisted immediately after high-school graduation, wanting to show that Muslims aren't all fanatics.)
Here's a tough one...
"James Michael Ahearn"
Watch out...trick question, with that Irish name...and that light complexion and European features...
But... Muslim!
And another of our fallen.
So while these examples might make it seem like you can profile and find bad guys by looking for non-Muslim names and appearances, it turns out that a small fraction of Muslims actually are terrorists, believe it or not, and some non-Muslims actually aren't!
Maybe anyone not under a white marble headstone should be suspect, eh? After all, you don't know who might have swapped-out that little old lady's carry-on (or slipped something into it, or into her pocket) while she was waiting...it might have been someone with a British name, like Jack Gilbert Graham!
Just look at this guy from Denver!
Would there have been debris scattered east of Longmont if only they had profiled and checked his mother's luggage?!?
When will the American people call a halt to Political Correctness and rise to the level of common sense and start checking those of Northern/Western European appearance far more than Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Samoan, Sub-Sahara African, Indian, Hispanic, etc. (who are evidently not attacking our airlines)?
(And I know that Pakistani isn’t Arab...and Lindh didn’t attack an airliner, but I hope you see the point.)

Looks like I'll have to go with 9YearLurker's assessment. :-)
This is the sort of forthrightness and simple honesty that has me supporting Sarah Palin. What a refreshing sight on the political scene, to have someone just come out and say the plain, clear truth, over and over, until people start to listen. You go, girl!!
Thanks, kiryandil—I did that little research too!
The rest of us live in the real world--and that's why quality conservatives can win, and nutty, unvetted ones (cough--Christine O'Donnell--cough) don't.
Funny how you didn't include this one:
Lifetime member of the NRA and an actual sportsman! :-) [That's a picture of her hunting with her son, below, and fishing.] She's a good conservative in the mold of Old Alaska, IMHO. The GOP could do a lot worse than she (sic)! Why, you could have even pointed out that I goofed up in editing and left the subjective-case pronoun in there instead of the objective case.
I guess you don't want people to see that I wrote:
She's definitely a very beautiful woman, and has always seemed authentic to me. Maybe I'm just a sucker for her pretty face, and maybe it's beauty queen poise training that allows her to handle fish like a pro, but I actually believe she was a commercial and sport fisherman, and while I'm not so sure I'd agree with all of her positions, I believe she would bring energy to a ticket, and social conservatism that's respectful of individual rights. But again, maybe it's just wishful thinking, after all the disappointments in the prez track.Yeah, look at that...I thought her kids were named funny. Oh, and I also commented about the BushBots maybe even going for her, despite her proclaimed conservatism (though I admit that I never realized they would do so as they thrashed around looking to form another personality cult!)
[...]
In summary, I think she'd be a smart pic for a VP slot. I just wouldn't want her choosing names for anything (her children are Bristol, Piper, Track, and Willow). :-)
But oh yeah...just a "seminar caller" who was posting and discussing Sarah Palin well before most here on FR and in real life outside of Alaska! (In fact, note that Trig wasn't born yet when I posted the above.)
BTW, FReepers can now all take note that you might be as dishonest as 9yearlurker. Are you proud of it? Are you really that afraid of honest discussion, that you think you can't support your point of view without deception? Sad, but indicative of why Gov. Palin's cultists are crafting a potential candidacy that remains a façade unable to stand on its own or withstand any scrutiny.
She needs to refudiate (an excellent word, BTW!) this approach, begin answering the questions she evaded, and regain some of the respect that has been lost.
“What great ammo for use against Obama and the Dims in 2012!”
In two years this will be institutinalized, hence the timing of this. Then the Dems will run their same canard and lie filled ads that just re-elected my insane congresswoman who lives in Texas and represents Tucson.
