Glenn Beck said today that he has spoken to military experts about the mystery contrail from a few weeks ago and he says it’s definitely not a plane, but rather a two stage missile. He just wants to know where it came from, and he has a theory. Beck postulates that this missile was possibly from a Chinese sub off the coast of California, perhaps as a show of force to the world, but even more so to President Obama.
When you look at the contrail, a plane doesn’t have one until it gets very high. Not from the ground up and not as big as that one was.
Not good for Beck’s credibility.
It was a missile. Beyond that, it’s speculation.

The plane was very high. It’s not going up, but horizontal to the earth.

I speculate contrails caused by a herd of unicorns.
We all know Beck is nuts. That’s a passenger plane on a 10 g steep incline to avoid the flying flock of pink elephants seen by the captain after he dropped 2 tabs of acid. He also had the airlines mod the jet with afterburners for just such an encounter. Top that one Scully.

If it was a missile, where’s the wreckage?
Not from the pictures I saw. The contrail was from the surface and the flames from the engine could be seen. You don’t see those kind of flames from a plane. Sorry, I have to disagree.
The missile dropped off the news cycle as soon as the TSA started molesting passengers.
Stewart (Beck’s side kick) said it was a weather balloon.
I would like to see the original footage.

Don’t see why they wouldn’t announce it, then. I assume they were in international waters and within their rights.
I heard Flapp Jackson in the Morning this Morning saying he thought it was a jet contrail.
I don’t know what it was, but it seems to me a lot of folks are making a call without seeing the whole 10 minutes of footage.
