The great paragraph shortage of 2010 continues...
Paragraphs make your text easier to read.
I disagree. Here on FR we have demonstrated our prowess with the written word, and now it’s time to ramp it up to the next skill level, which is a world without paragraphs, because formatting makes it just too easy to read.
I would like that very much.
Easier to copy into email for my representatives :)

I just presumed that there was a federal agency that manages paragraph control, and the post was including them in budget cuts.
They are headquartered in the basement of the UN in NYC and are in charge of the “Oil for Paragraphs” program.
All Right, You got me laughing silly and the dogs are looking at me like I’m a loon ( as if they didn’t already know)
This would be great. Now......only 12 Trillion to go. Our politicians should have their pay cut off until they get a balanced budget and have it meet 1980’s spending.........or less.
bttt
Sorry about the format - didn’t mean to post as one big paragraph. First timer - no longer a virgin. Thanks to those who fixed it.
But, but, but... how will all the free-loaders live without these monies? How can a simpleton, er, uh, I mean simple man turn a crap-filled idea (like cow manure based fuels) into the much needed renewable fuels of tomorrow? Do you expect them to spend their own money? You expect them to convince investors and the public that this is a good idea? Good Lord man, nothing would ever get made if those were the rules!
Luckily the Wright brother’s got a million dollar grant from the government to get their idea off the ground (pun intended). And we must thank Washington, D.C. for giving all those millions of dollars to George Washington Carver for his agriculture studies which lead to the planting of mass peanut and soybean farms in the south.
People today are just ignorant about the ways of life out here in the real world - without D.C. to fund us, we would just sit around in our log cabins and learn to read all by ourselves. Now I ask you, how far can you get in life with a plan like that?
We could end the IRS, plus the buildings that have to be rented, bought heated, air conditions, up keep, ect. If we just had a national sales tax.
AND end disability for all drug addicts and alcoholics.
Here’s one (from IRS dot Gov):
EITC is One of the Largest Antipoverty [Welfare giveaway] Programs
Nationwide last year, over 24 million people received nearly $50 billion in EITC.
Participation is estimated at 75% to 80%.
Elimination of this program alone would save half a trillion dollars over ten years.
Quit picking around the edges.
Repeal EPA and fire all its employees.
Repeal Medicare and fire all its employees.
Repeal Medicaid and fire all its employees.
Repeal Social Security and fire all its employees.
Repeal the Americans With Disabilities Act and fire all the relevant employees.
Eliminate the Education Department and fire all its employees.
Repeal all federal education legislation and fire all the relevant employees.
Make all public employee unions illegal.
Et Cetera and Et Al.
Etc.
