"1962 Obama articles don't mention wife, son
Newspaper features on father present more evidence president's story false
Two Hawaii newspaper articles published in June 1962 – the month Barack Obama Sr. left the islands to attend classes at Harvard University – make no reference to his wife, Ann Dunham, or his then 10-month-old son, Barack Obama Jr.
The articles found in the microfilm files in the Library of Congress newspaper collection in Washington, D.C., confirm questions about the veracity of the official Obama nativity story told in the president's autobiography "Dreams from My Father."
The official story is that Ann Dunham was in Hawaii, living with her husband, Barack Obama Sr., and their infant son, until Barack Obama Sr. left for Cambridge, Mass., in June 1962 to begin graduate studies at Harvard University.
However, as WND reported, documentary evidence from the University of Washington, and testimony, including interviews with Dunham's high school friends and her babysitter in Seattle, indicate that she left Hawaii just 15 days after her son was born to begin extension classes in Seattle.
A June 22, 1962, farewell story in the Honolulu Advertiser by reporter John Griffin confirmed Barack Obama Sr. was living off-campus at an address not associated with any address known to be connected with Dunham or her parents, Stanley and Madelyn Dunham
"An off-campus resident (St. Louis Heights) Obama thinks it's a mistake to have the East-West students in dormitories," Griffin wrote.

Simple answer: Kezia slipped. She was supposed to say Malik was two years old in 1959 - something she corrected in later interviews...but her child WAS six years of age, because she was married to the OLDER BROTHER not Barak Hussein Obama Onynago.
In ‘Dreams’ - when it came to arguments about the small estate of Barak Hussein, ‘Granny’ Sarah, the mother of JOSEPH/YUSUF with whom Barak went to school at Maseno, shouted at the children of Kezia:
NONE OF YOU ARE HIS CHILDREN!
That outburst had to be explained away...by making her out to be jealous.
I’m pretty certain everyone in Kenya knows...and how desperate was the need to place Barak Hussein in Kenya until 1959 before he came to Hawaii? The-son-of-a-Kenya-goat-herder-marries-white-girl-fathers-zero-myth in full flight.

In fact, when people publish the claim that they are married, they are treated as married for many purposes, whether they have been through a civil or religious ceremony or not. So you are in that kind of relationship and decide you want out, you get a divorce.
I have always been of the view that if Obama Senior was really zero's father, likely there was a marriage but it occurred in Kenya. And that they did that because of concern that a marriage in Hawaii would have been bigamous.
I thought that because of the earlier marriage to Kezia. I now think Fred's point is almost certainly correct--Senior was never married to Kezia; so that was not the marriage they would have worried about. But at the same time, there may well be another marriage of Senior, contracted in the gap period between the time he came to the United States and the time he went to Hawaii and if he was the father and Stanley Ann was the mother, that would have been the marriage of concern.
I think there is legitimate doubt on all these points.
You are also correct--the issue of the missing page is speculation. But you need to know that under Hawaii local court rules and well as court rules in most other jurisdictions, when you have a divorce, particularly a default divorce, and there are minor children, the rules require the lawyer to submit a birth certificate. I believe that is where the document which is the photocopy of a birth certificate that Orly has came from--a lawyer's file copy of the certificate he got from Kenya and filed with the Court in the divorce proceeding.

In Florida, the court never asks for a marriage certificate. The Petitioner just swears there was a marriage.
Is it any wonder there’s been a gag order on the Won’s tribe. Keisa can’t remember who she married when and who’s her kids’ daddies. Sarah can’t remember where she was during her grandchildren’s births and mixes up her male offspring. Sr. can’t remember where and when he travelled nor could he keep up with his conquests at every port. Hussein can’t open his mouth without lying. I dunno, but Hussein has many of Sr.’s family traits.

First, “Dreams” was heavily written and edited by Bill Ayers and cannot be relied on, especially any dialog.
Second, Kezia was reported to have been born in 1940 and for her to have had a six year old child in 1959, she would have had to have delivered the child at age 13 and conceived at 12.
For me it is more likely the Kezia misspoke (I am 60, this happens!) or the reporter made a mistake, which in my experience is guaranteed in any encounter with a newspaper reporter.
Also, BHO Sr was reported to have been born in 1936. If he left Kenya seven years before 1962, that would have been 1955 when he was 19 having only an missionary school GED.
It is clear that BHO Sr was a well indoctrinated pan-African socialist spouting the KGB funded party-line by the time he arrived in HI at age 23, but I haven't seen any evidence that he was not in Kenya with Kezia from 1956 to 1959. I would welcome any links to evidence or speculation that he was _not_ in Kenya from 1956 to 1959, or that Kezia was married to an older brother of BHO Sr at age 13.

Kezia and Senior were married in a tribal ceremony in January, 1957, and set up a home in Jericho, a section of Nairobi created for government employees, and began a family.
First son Roy was born in March 1958. Kezia insisted: “Barack was a good husband.”

That article was dated June 22, 1962. That is the date he is reported to have left Hawaii.
In June 1962 he says he hasn’t been in Kenya for seven years.
I would welcome any links to evidence or speculation _in addition to the one 1962 HI newspaper story_ that BHO Sr. was _not_ in Kenya from 1956 to 1959, or that Kezia was married to an older brother of BHO Sr at age 13.
Beckwith’s timetable is consistent with Kezia’s Daily Mail story and the other ones I have seen, not the HI 1962 story.
I have seen no evidence or stories pointing to Kezia marrying Obama Sr’s older brother at age 13 or any indication that she was born before 1940.
Aye, but did 0bama Sr., know about the "marriage?" I ask because one ancient citizenship scam was to pay homeless men to swear to a Justice of the Peace about an earlier "marriage."
This scam worked especially well when used on the name of a man who was soon to be leaving, or had already left, the U.S. to reside in a foreign nation.
Such a man could be "married" based on the word of a homeless drunk and a pregnant girl.
Probably doesn't apply here, though.

BUT when it came to the matter of the inheritance of the small estate of Barak Hussein Obama Onyango, the line of descent was CLEARLY understood.
IT WAS MARK, the son of Barak and Ruth who inherited. NOT the children of Kezia. Now, why might that be?
