The only thing that matters is who appointed the judge(s) in question.

Alaska GOP asks Miller to concede
November 17, 2010 21:37 EST

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Alaska’s Republican party is asking nominee Joe Miller to concede the U.S. Senate race to incumbent Lisa Murkowski.

State GOP chair Randy Ruedrich says the party “stands ready to embrace” Murkowski as “Alaska’s only Republican U.S. senator.” He called on Miller to respect the will of the voters and to “end his campaign in a dignified manner.”

Murkowski lost the GOP nomination to Miller, the tea party favorite, in the primary. But Murkowski won the seat as a write-in candidate. That makes her the first Senate candidate in more than 50 years to win a write-in campaign.

Miller told Fox News he’s “less cautiously optimistic” than he was before. He also says his campaign wants to take a closer look at the results and election procedures before deciding whether to ask for a recount.

I’m sorry folks, but if you are looking for a race that was stolen, look to the CT Governor’s race and the Bridgeport ballot antics, not this one.

Murky the RINO got 10,000 more write-in votes than Miller got on the ballot. Even if many of these are suspect, she got a 1700 more uncontested votes than Miller’s total.

He can keep contesting but it’s look ‘over’ to me.

And yes, Murky’s ‘mandate’ is a thin one. She got cross-over Dems who wanted to stop the Tea Party guy. And her post-election comments prove why we needed her out of there in the first place. But it’s done.

Newt is yesterday’s news.

If by some unknown force he were to win the GOP nomination, we’ll be witnessing Obama sworn in on January 20, 2013 for a second term. God forbid.

The Alaska Republican party head is Randy Ruedrich. He is the guy who now says that Miller should admit defeat.

Before giving that too much weight, it’s worth taking a look at Randy Ruedrich. He is a part of the Alaska Corrupt Bastards Club. He is an enemy of Sarah Palin and Miller, both.

For a pretty good summary demonstrating that, check out this article from the 2008 election season:

http://www.juneauempire.com/stories/030908/sta_255333530.shtml

Pretty clear that this guy is part of the problem.

By the way. Read the whole article. Toward the end, it quotes Palin as laughing because Ruedrich neglected to list her name on the Republican Party website after she became Governor.

Ruedrich said he “forgot.” But he didn’t forget to list Frank Murkowski earlier.

If he did, he should offer no concession, no kiss and make up, and no support. And hopefully, the Alaska GOP would do the same [but I doubt it]. And the GOP in DC should send her sagging butt to caucus with the Dims [which they won’t].

I haven’t seen any comment anywhere about this simple fact. At the time of Murkowski’s write in announcement, ALL observers, the liberal lamestream media, blogosphere and conservative radio and t.v said Murkowski had no shot whatsoever at a write in campaign. None. What happened? In addition to the fraud factor I mean. How could a hopelessly futile write in effort turn into becoming within striking distance of the fraud margin of error? (like Nevada)

Thank you, Cicero. I’ve been watching this thread for answers regarding just who is behind the scene, taking Miller down, and your post answered my question.

The Good Ol’ Boys Network is still firmly entrenched.

Good post. Indeed a weaker candidate would have given up.

“I was hoping he would win, but he lost. I’m SURE the election was stolen, but that’s what happens when the conservative doesn’t win outside of the margin of fraud/litigation.”

If there was voter fraud please tell me again how he lost?

Stolen is not the same as lost.

I hope Miller fights this will all he has. This margin of fraud crap is garbage.
We need to fight this instead of giving up and saying “Oh well...the rats stole another one”.

Listen. The only way to expose the fraud, and the only way to force the law to be followed is to go to court. If the republicans simply role over all the time in the name of being humble then the democrats will just keep cheating. The only way to stop it is to fight. And in the case of multiple ballots with the same hand writing...when they catch who did that then it should be off to prison. How else do you discourage that kind of behavior.

Newt wants to be Prez and he tells the entire Tea Party to fornicate off. WHAT A STUPID!!!

I will make a prediction. If the GOP, and in particular the RINOS, do not get the message the Tea Party sent them on Nov 2, the GOP will end up being the 3rd party and totally irrelevant by no later than 2014.

Our campaign has sworn affidavits identifying unsecured ballot boxes, other precincts where numerous ballots appear to be in the same handwriting, others where there is 100% voter turnout and still other precincts where the ballots were sent to the Division of Elections presorted by U.S. Senate candidate

I wonder if Murkowski's in collusion with ACORN, SEIU or other unsavory Leftist organizations.

So, you FReepers calling on Joe to give up with all these allegations of fraud going on and the House firmly out of Democrat control, are you not interested in seeing that the voters aren't disenfranchised, even though that should be the first consideration?

"If you stand on your head and look at this charming pic of Murky......"

To me, the pic looks like the Alaskan salmon are swimming upstream early this year.

Get the hook!

“Just heard Newt G on Greta just gushing and wet smacking on Lisa M’s wrankled old butt on how wonderful and smart she has been to win the election and what a fantastic Republican she is.”

If Lisa won, it would be because Miller made some really dumb mistakes and alaskans want their pork.
Looks like Newt found another Dede to gush over.

Levin says she is rushing to get the media behind her and get seated because it will be harder for Miller to get a judge to reverse when votes are are counted and challenged...Gore wanted to do same thing....
