He’s definitely intelligent and articulate. But his views are way out there.

Savage did support Romney big time and calling me a liar doesn’t change that simple fact. Strike one was supporting Jerry Brown and I forgave that but his Romney love festival and his Palin jealousy make the three strikes.

WITT, you are far more of a rabid Savage bot than any of the Bristol-voting DWTS obsessed Palin groupies! Perfect example of pot calling kettle black, I think. You wouldn’t know the truth about Anythjng I’d it hit you between the eyes. You’re a savage groupie in your own little self gratifying orgy.

And Savage's continued support with RINO Romney is even worse.

You Savage haters are all the same, you need to douse your brain with more kimchi, oh wait, you already do that and it doesn't help you.

I love to point out the lies and smears you Savage haters resort to, to try to smear Savage. Savage's continued support of Romney? That is a bald-faced lie, I used to think better of you, nonetheless you should never show your lying Savage-hating,Korea-loving face on a Savage thread again if all you're going to do is lie about Savage.............

Screaming at the top of your lungs like a neurotic imbecile doesn't change facts now matter how much kool-aid you've been drinking lately.

You really need to get that pacifier out of your mouth and stop whining and throwing a tempter tantrum like a 3 year old. You're an embarrassment to anyone who listens to Michael Savage.

Who's whining, I'm just exposing you for the liar you are and all the Savage regulars can see you try to squirm out of it, but you can't, can you? Game-Set-Match!

You honestly fail to see the connection. Educated and qualified Conservatives win as they did in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Unqualified and/or ignorant Conservatives lose in most cases.

You should be able to discern where Palin falls in those two classifications.

You, a SAVAGE bot? LMAO, LOL, that’s the most absurd thing I’ve heard in awhile. Apparently some people are even more delusional than I thought they were!

” Here we have a couple of Savage hating Palinistas, now everyone can see the true hate and ugliness of Palin’s fanatical following, and add Tamar to the list of those who seem to be all too willing to smear and lie about those who don’t support their
precious Palin. “

One of the Palinistas favorite insults is to call those of us who don’t want Palin to run “ 1%ers “. FYI, these are the people like myself who supported Duncan Hunter.

You are the one whose lying trying to obfuscate the fact that savage was a big time Romney supporter and I’ve never heard him repent of it the way he repented of giving all that money to Jerry Brown.

His continued bashing of Palin and other real conservatives should not be tolerated on a conservative forum.

Have fun drinking the koolaid, WITT! You’re the only one here drinking it in so completely that I believe Savage is your idol in the truest sense of the world. The kind of rabid worship you give to Savage should only go to God!

.
I do not question his intelligence; I’ve met with him and spoken with him at some length on medical/nutritional issues; but articulate is exactly what he is not when he is speaking on the air.

As for his views, few of his listeners have any significant knowledge of them, simply because he is so inarticulate.

When it comes to right and wrong, I am willing to stand alone if I am convinced I am right. Numbers have never been an assurance to me that I was on the right track. And at times I have even wished some people were not on my side, their actions being so detrimental to my cause.

Now that is level discourse, what FR needs more of lately. Even without examples your comment stands is a low-key and not unreasonable summary of your opinion. I constantly pick at Savage’s oddities, and I’m not alone among the semi-regulars to this thread, so I doubt many need you to provide examples. (Some might out of orneriness).

When I see people using “hater” and “bashing” at every opportunity, I tend to see the negative influence of Statist disruptors. It’s extremist tactics without doubt, and it’s been juvenile in how it’s been practiced on this thread.

As early as Sept 4 2008 I noted the hyperactivity of the Left towards Sarah. It was accompanied by back biting from (the “Right”) McCain’s own people, McCain doing nothing to stop it but everything to stop his people from attacking Obama (in less harsh tones no less). It reeked of a desire to lose along with a desire to disrupt the conservative Right for whom McCain a great big chip on his shoulder. Nothing about McCain suggests he’s anything but another GOP Statist who will happily make hay while Obama bumbles.

The Left from the start has made Sarah an Alinsky rule number 12 object that also serves the Statists hiding out on and manipulating the Right. It serves neither her or the Right for her alleged fans to be using Leftist buzz words and tactics to shut down legitimate concerns.

There are other features in Sarah’s history that are hardly solid right. Since nobody is perfect, that is not her biggest problem from a principled stance. Sarah has yet to dissociate from McCain, and you can’t deny that will remain problematic until she strongly breaks from him.

For Sarah to advance not only on the Right, but with the independents, her fan base will need to curtail the behavior of the disruptor types (moles and/or useful idiots) and she can become better trained so that the likes of Couric and Gibson can’t blind-side her again.

""Savage is delusional.”"

Yeh, but he's our Savage! We just have to keep him on track when he wanders off. Don't anybody tell him he's never had an original thought. Most of the time he forgets he's only speaking what we are thinking. Modesty has never been one of his strong points. But I think we can allow him that. After all, he's the guy doing all the shouting and getting banned here and there and stuff.

I'm late to this discussion, but when I read your post I had to reply.

Are you

actually

comparing Reagan's qualifications to Palin's? Do you really believe that being Governor of California, the 8th largest economy in the world for two terms (8 yrs) is the same as being Governor of Alaska for three years? I don't think that is the same at all. Reagan was also president of the screen actors guild and had circulated nationally for quite a while, something Palin is doing, to a lesser extent, now. I think she is more qualified than Barry, but that is not saying a lot.

I have seen names like DeMint, Christie and Jindal, and I like all three. The problem is that while DeMint has some management experience, his primary experience has been in the house and senate. That may convince many in America, but I prefer someone who actually has run more than campaigns. Christie has been in office only a short while - long enough to make an impression, but not long enough to prove what he can do. Jindal has a very impressive background. And while he has had to deal with quite a bit in LA, I think it has only been 2 years. I do not like Romney. Huckabee - maybee - I will wait and see, and the same for Palin.

Well said. She may indeed be a much more viable candidate than Savage and others think. I want to wait and see. I also need to read her book to learn more about what she has to say w/out it being warped by the media.

I want to add that I am concerned about the level of "Palin mania" on FR. I have been flamed ad nauseum for not acknowledging that she is the second coming of Reagan.

She was a successful, popular, and effective Governor of Alaska. She's had successful experience as head of an executive branch of government and has demonstrated she can do a good job. There are quite a few similarities with Reagan not to mention the fact that they said he wasn't qualified either.

People will vote for whomever they want, but I'm tired of hearing the same phony mantra that she's not qualified.

Hi Tamar,
I have heard Savage repenting of the Brown clown stuff, and he repented of the Romney stuff, too.

Personally, I think Savage does better at identifying issues, but when he deals with the human element of interfacing with candidates, he gets into trouble.

Having said that, I still love his show. I basically don’t trust Rush, and cannot stand to listen to him or to Glenn Beck....

..enough for now ...

Let’s try to not destroy FR because of candidate preferences.

I think both you and WITT don’t like ROmeny. I think that is a point of agreement, for now.

I don’t enjoy seeing the two of you sparring like this, and I’d like to think that we don’t need to be doing this, not now.

WITT and Tamar, let’s all try to think back to what drew us all here together at first: We all wanted a more conservative, constitutional approach to poilitcs.

Let’s go in that direction.
