Sarah Palin says she is seriously considering a run for the White House, and she believes she could beat President Obama in 2012, the former Alaska governor told ABC News' Barbara Walters. "I'm looking at the lay of the land now, and ... trying to figure that out, if it's a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it's a good thing," Palin said in an interview scheduled to air in full Dec. 9 on ABC as part of Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People" of 2010.

Uh....did you actually read my post?
Palin did bring us the female vote, in Presidential elections it has gone Democrat since 1964.
Yes, I just agreeing With you on that point!
I remember that, he was everywhere. I was ineligible for the 1976 election by 6 weeks, so I was really focused on the 1980 election. I absorbed it all. By then, I was a new mom, the hostages, gas lines, the misery index, all of it. Carter was a mess. I never thought we'd experience it again. Now, it's Carter times 4. Owebama is THE WORST PRESIDENT THIS COUNTRY HAS EVER HAD......
EVER
Palin can win, and she'll restore our country with people in congress like Paul Ryan taking care of the finances.
I really find that the path of Sarah Palin will be the same as the path of Ronald Reagan.
Reagan, was also unelectable, as per our present standard. But “destiny” (some unusual/crazy things against Democrats happened in late 70s - incompetence and bad luck) really pushed Reagan to the top. The country was really frightened at that time ... so many “uncertainties”.
There was also a fear-mongering against Reagan that he would lose the general election despite all the indications against Carter. Remember that there’s also a third party candidate that somehow scratched some votes from Reagan. Reagan was also wounded in that primary. Many had called him as a “loser” and democrat-hack.
[Carter was lying. That shameful “independent” candidate (I hate the name) was a RINO, not a dem. He hurt Reagan more than Carter but Reagan still won by a very respectable margin.]
Palin’s chances and opportunities will also be dictated by DESTINY.
Palin’s chance is only a miracle from God!
NOTE: NO ONE CAN BE CERTAIN OF THE FUTURE. But as conservatives, one thing should always remain for us ... “principles” ... win or lose! Maybe there’s still a “living” GOD who honors and helps those who remain true to their principles.
Please sweet fancy moses Sarah, no.
YOU ARE USEFUL ON THE OUTSIDE. Don’t screw the pooch for us in 2012.
Hear Hear!!!
Guess the Civil War isn’t really over. Seems the blacks are way out of step with the rest of the country.
Sarah would make one of the best presidents this country has had. It would be a return to COMMON SENSE.
With all due respect you don’t think the GOP wants the WH? They do, they want it bad, if Palin is the vessel to make that happen they will grudgingly go along with it, much like they did with Reagan.
She is a beautiful woman, nobody can deny that. A few DUmmies over at the DUmpster said that and of course heads began to explode there. Palin derangement syndrome. If there’s one thing those ugly Dems hate it’s a pretty Republican. It makes them suicidal.
Exactly. Plain “speak” and common sense.
Who's this "us"?
I would not vote for her in the primary season. I don’t know who would earn my vote but I do not see Palin as electable going into 2012.
Christie will run. Book it.
Hank
I don't know how old your are, but they media vilified Reagan, it was just an actor, he's too old, he'll sleep through import decisions. SNL did spoofs. The media doesn't matter, no one listens to them, except to mock them. Do you know anyone who quotes MSMBC as an authority? Or Katie or whoever heads up the other stations? We all used to know who those big 3 news readers were at the network news stations, now, they are right up there with Oberman. We just all laugh at them. That media is dead, don't worry about them.
“Us” is the US. If she ran, she’d lose. Sarah herself would win, but they’d be able to make enough of her “quitting” her job in Alaska to ruin things for her. If we underestimate the ability of the left to spin her past decisions, we’re in for it.
It’s imperative that we run a safer candidate in 2010 like McDonnell, Christy, Rubio, Bachmann, someone like that. Not some “moderate” or a RINO, but a less controversial character.
(Was Rasmussen as accurate in 2010 as he has been in the past?)
Same here. I'm too old to hold my nose anymore. There's no more time. In 1980 I stood in line for an hour to vote for Ronald Reagan and nothing could stop me. I want to feel that way again.
I voted for Reagan twice.
Remember how they said he had to have everything on a Teleprompter because he was too dim - what an irony that has turned out to be given his private writings and what he did for the country; what a stark contrast to our current empty-suit President who truly can’t speak in public with TOTUS.
