It’s well past time to fight this.

I have a trip to Boston to make next month and it’s just about the limit of whether flying would be better than driving.
But with all this that’s going on, I’m opting for driving. I will protest this at least in that, way as much as humanly possible. No flying until the TSA is brought under control.
They either profile or are abolished altogether.
.....oh, noes!!!!! Not to mention an amtrak revival in passenger trains. But in all seriousness, once Big Brother has run amok and gets away with our degradation in airports who or what is to prevent them from installing these scanners and grope fest at bus stations? Train Stations? Schools? Stadiums? Anyplace and anywhere large groups of people will be meeting at???? Is this how we want to live our lives? Really?

This is just another steps towards desensitizing and dehumanizing the public - eradicate self, individualism, privacy. This fits hand-in-hand with govt health care.

Yep I agree. IMO thats the only purpose of this new process. Any reasonable person knows grandma, grandpa or the 4 yr old isn’t going to be a terrorist.
We the People need to hit TSA with Lawsuits and Indictments all across the Nation.
Absolutely. We should ‘sarah palin’ them with endless lawsuits, never let up. Just keep hitting them. Eventually the money for defense will start to dry up, even if they try to use taxpayer dollars for defense, eventually it will get shut down or defunded.
But we shouldn’t just hit the TSA organization - we also need to hit individual TSA workers. Charge them with sexual battery and emotional distress. Make them pariahs in their neighborhoods as once you are accused of sexual molestation that’s a hard rap to break. If enough of them have to fight these charges personally (most on a salary less than 50k a year) they’ll quit or work on changing things themselves.
Then we must hit the airports. Not the airlines, the AIRPORTS. Because BY LAW the airports DO NOT have to hire the TSA. They con contract privately. So we sue them also as accomplices, aiding and abetting molestation and assault on their property, and causing emotional stress. If enough of us do this after having been groped by these goons the airports will cave also. They have to.
I think this is the way to win this if Congress refuses to step up to the plate. Freeper attorneys what say you? Is this doable?

In the meantime, participate in “Operation Dinner Out”- buy your family “Don’t Touch My Junk” t-shirts and have dinner at a restaurant inside the airport, followed by some browsing of the airport shops. A legal, civil way to make your protestation known.

If security is really the issue, there’d be more done in other areas, although I’m sure the other areas are not far behind...
