Elton John: America Is A 'Very Uncomfortable Place To Be At The Moment' Wednesday, November 17, 2010 By Nicholas Ballasy

(CNSNews.com) - Sir Elton John said that “America is an uncomfortable place to be at the moment” whether it’s with politics, sexuality or religion because people are “standing and screaming” in the country and “not talking to each other.”

“It seems to be in America at the moment that people are standing and screaming at each other and are not talking to each other and there’s a lot of spite, whether it’s with politics, sexuality, religion, whatever. It’s a very uncomfortable place to be at the moment. It’s not the America I came to in 1970 and I find that really disappointing,” John told reporters before the World TeamTennis annual charitable exhibition, held this year in Washington which raised more than $500,000 to fight HIV and AIDS through Sir Elton John’s AIDS Foundation.

He added, “I think it’s time that we try to cool our heels a little bit here and become more compassionate with each other instead of more spiteful and I really find it perplexing because, this is, you know, I love this country, it’s the greatest country, it’s given me everything I’ve ever had but I worry about it at the moment and there’s so much spite and people talking off the back and saying Nancy Pelosi is evil – well, why is she evil because she’s a Democrat or people slighting Republicans off. There’s no middle ground. In England, we have a middle ground system where you have to, you have to talk.”

If every Leftist performer left the USA, we would not miss them. They are irrelevant to our lives and our future as a country.

Elton doesn’t seem to be perturbed in the slightest at the rancor coming at the American GOP.

I’d suggest telling Elton to shove it up his a** — but he might consider that a welcome proposition.

Sorry Elton, Americans by nature are do’ers. Not Talkers. I do “talk” to my liberal friends but they are the ones yelling back at me that everything is Bush’s fault. So much for talk...

Translation:

If it’s fascists, socialists, communists, marxists, and law breakers, doing the standing up and screaming, everything is peachy.

If it’s the Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, or law and order people, Elton John is nervous.

Well Elton, I had thought you had mellowed a bit.

Looks like my ability to be dead wrong is still functioning on all eight cylinders.

Funny, he looked pretty comfortable taking all that cash from Rush for performing as the wedding . . .

Well Elton, we will be able to talk again when America returns to our Constitutional roots and the communists are sent packing.

Until then, nothing will change. You might choose Elton, to join the side that wishes to bring back that America you liked so much.

If you need to talk so bad, go back to Britain.

YIKES...I do understand what he is trying to say. We are at each other’s throats and I blame OBAMA and the democrats for all of it. BUT, Elton performed at the 911 concert for our heroes and he seems to really love America. So.....

He actually said: “America, its in a very uncomfortable place right now!”

I guess the doctors still haven’t found that missing jar of peanut butter and the bicycle inner tube, have they?

Isn’t it funny that when the libs lose, it becomes “uncomfortable”? Well, then...get the heck out! I’ve never been a big Elton John fan anyway!
