According to the draft report, a state-owned Chinese telecommunications firm, China Telecom, "hijacked" massive volumes of Internet traffic during the 18-minute incident. It affected traffic to and from .gov and .mil websites in the United States, as well as websites for the Senate, all four military services, the office of the Secretary of Defense, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and "many others," including websites for firms like Dell, Yahoo, IBM and Microsoft.

"Although the Commission has no way to determine what, if anything, Chinese telecommunications firms did to the hijacked data, incidents of this nature could have a number of serious implications," the report reads. "This level of access could enable surveillance of specific users or sites."

Thanks for the continuing personal attacks. You just proved my point. No substance. All belittling and demeaning anyone who dares comment outside of your process zone. Its all about destroying humans.

Oh, and these posts won't stop until you, the quant, get the last word. Classic characteristic. They MUST have the last word. So... more personal attacks on me. Always striving for the last word. The last jab. Watch it, folks. Just watch... You will see the defect...

You took the bait, friend. You took the bait. Normal minds wouldn't have even bothered answering the post. But, you... you took the bait! Now... enough of this. We are violating Freep rules here. I need to get back to fighting communism and you need to get back to destroying the American middle class. So, last word notwithstanding, This is it for me. Have the last word.

Geithner is no quant. He's just a dependable tool.

So be it. Although, I dare say he seems to play one quite well on TV!

Srick trick, but also possible danger to world security, that China can just up and seize the routing of “ordinary” .gov traffic that would logically stay within the confines of the USA.

"Thanks for the continuing personal attacks."

To have a discourse, people must have an agreement on basic principles. Most agree to adhere to logic. Post #20 is demonstrably not a personal attack: it analyzed point by point not you as a person but what you said. And, most of the post actually defends your position, as I understood that position to be.

"You just proved my point. No substance. All belittling and demeaning anyone who dares comment outside of your process zone. Its all about destroying humans."

Now I understand you better. By "quants" you actually meant not those who know and use mathematics but those who adhere to logic. You posit further that (i) logic is at odds with humanity, (ii) whatever illogical rants you chose to emit, people must accept them as valid, since they are "human," and, (iii) anyone disagreeing with these suppositions " destroy[s] humans."

Your posts demonstrate how far relativism has reached: a supposedly conservative person demands the acceptance of logical and illogical as equivalent.

Sorry I troubled you with my replies. It will not happen again, April.

Somebody that can't even run TurboTax properly is no quantitative analyst. Quants are theoretical physicists who like making money, or math professors who like fast cars instead of classrooms.

Timmy strikes me as a below-average student who cheated on his thesis, and got where he is because of his family ties to Soetoro.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Apparently a good capitalist would cheer on what the banksters, globalists and fraudsters have done to countries the world over. Argentina, parts of Africa, Russia, etc.
