I truly like Sarah Palin but I have doubts about her ability to get elected. I’d much prefer Mike Pence with Sarah as VP. Give her some experience in DC and let the people really see what and who she is.
Wow, didn’t see that coming!!!
Go Sarah!
Face it people, the problem, is all these laws. 99% of laws Congress has passed are socialism, unconstitutional AND damage freedom and the economy.
The solution is to have a Constitutional amendment that will
1. Make ALL laws expire after 3 years. The problem is once these socialist laws are passed then they are forever, forever mandating increasing spending, increasing government growth, increasing government control etc.
This way only a few laws (programs) which are what people really want will be kept going.
And this must apply to all laws passed since the constitution was ratified. So all previous laws passed will be given 3 years to expire.
2. Documentation on each law about to be voted on must be mailed out to each American.
Sure hope and pray she does decide to run. Sarah would be a 1000% better than anyone else, in my opinion.
Hope she puts in a skeet range at Her White House!
yeah, that whole ‘she’s unelectable” thing.
I hear ya....
...but didn’t they say Bristol couldn’t dance? LOL, who’s in the finals ?
This is a political tsunami that is being underestimated by everyone, including well meaning FReepers.
Don’t fall for it, she will walk away with the nomination and win the general election in a landslide. It will take some work, but that’s what campaigns are for.
I think you are right. It is a case of either lover her or hate her there is no in between and I don’t think she has enough “love her” to over come the others. I have a rule of thumb that is when people are joking about and laughing at a politician he is done, it holds true in this case.
That's why we have primaries. Just because she runs doesn't mean she will get the nomination if enough Republicans feel as you do.
This is “news”?
For me, its DeMint or Palin. DeMint says he doesn’t want it, although I would expect him to say that this early in.
I’d like to see her firm up her philosophy, get some more seasoning. But I already see that she has good instincts, and she fights.
So maybe my dream team is DeMint-Palin. Or Palin-DeMint. Two fighters. Bolton at State or CIA.
I agree with you. I feel she is unelectable based on a lot of reasons not all of which are her fault. Hary Reid could have been beaten by anyone but the flake that the GOP nominated and the same applied to Colorado and Delaware. Obama will be reelected if the GOP is not very careful. I dont think this new tv show is a positive for her as well. She flat out says in the promo that this is more fun than some political office. That will be seen over and over again in negative ads by the Dems. Perception is reality in politics.
WOW, a super shocker! This means more vetting, more dirt to be thrown, more slander from the MSM, more Harvard Professors claiming she is as dumb as a rock , more ridicule by the entertainment geniuses like Maher Colbert et.al.. Its going to be a tough up hill battle, with no holds bared from the Left for sure. I’m afraid to say, she will not appeal to the 82% of those with less than a HS education that support the Dems. The Unions will be out in droves, every illegal voter will be driven to the polls. That is the power of the MSM, Unions and Leftist entertainment industry. Forget about the big city populations, the pampered females there won’t vote for her, nor will the welfare moms. I like Palin but feel the odds are against her. I wish I can be more optimistic. God is really with her if she can pull it off.
I have a rule of thumb, when a candidate is the overwhelming favorite of the party voters, then she wins the primary, then you spend 700 million dollars in the general, selling the conservative favorite.
I agree. Let’s not underestimate the mood and indercurrent in present day politics. The electorate is rejecting “career DC politicians”.
I really like Sarah, but I’d much prefer she keep doing what she’s doing. I think she’s a bigger thorn in the side of the left this way. :)
