New York Times article details Palin's political machine.

Sarah Palin has clarified for the first time in a newly published interview that she is seriously considering a presidential run.

"I am," Palin told New York Times writer Robert Draper when asked if she was weighing a run in 2012. "I'm engaged in the internal deliberations candidly, and having that discussion with my family, because my family is the most important consideration here."

In a personal profile to be published in the upcoming New York Times Magazine, Palin said her decision would involve "evaluating whether she could bring unique qualities to the table," admitting the biggest challenge would be proving her record.

You have me at a slight disadvantage, as I am not readily familiar with this issue (or as you’ve phrased it, you have ‘embarrassed’ me - though it appears to me you are embarrassing yourself by trying to pin me down on something I’ve never said or asserted, but, whatever)

I have never heard of Col Grimes. I know not of any report she made. I do not recall the any of the facts you are talking about.

I only have a vague recollection of the whole ‘troopergate’ scandal and that is it was resolved as being without merit (for the most part - again, I’m not making any claims about it, just going off my recollection) and was just a phony charge brought by political opponents.

Perhaps my impression is incorrect...if so, please help me out instead of this constant questioning of me on something I am not asserting.

You say Sarah Palin avoided answering questions? This is news to me, but please show us your evidence of that. You are the one making accusations, it is your responsibility to back them up, not mine.

If this single issue brought by her political adversaries is your evidence of Palin’s lack of character, lay it out.

Until you alleged that in your latest post, I had no idea what was driving you. Again, that is due to me not being familiar with the details of this issue.

I’m sure you were posting about this two years before my sign in date, as that would have been the approximate time frame of this issue. (by the way, this is my new sign in, my last one was banned in 2008 because I was too critical of McCain. I’d had that one since the mid 90’s)

So you’ve been against her for a while now. Congratulations.

You have demonstrated real intellectual dishonesty with all your claims and questions to me. I think you are having a debate with yourself inside your head stemming from your own fevered imagination.

You are asserting that anyone who supports Sarah Palin somehow doesn’t believe that character counts. And you accuse me of making a straw man argument?

Please, the floor is yours. Regale us with your evidence that Palin has no character. Lay out your argument, here’s your chance. I bet their are many poor souls like me, ignorant of Sarah’s devious character flaws.

Just a thought (and not an assertion of fact, I’m just speculating) could it be that Sarah Palin never “answered” questions about this because the issue was resolved and was a phony charge to begin with, and any statements she might make would just feed another media cycle of negativity?

After all, you never answered my question about when you stopped beating your wife. Some questions don’t deserve an answer. I’m thinking anything to do with ‘troopergate’ falls in that category.

But I await your evidence to the contrary.

Vague. No mention of a fence, no mention of deportation

Even worse, I'm sure she meant to say she wanted to give them amnesty, let anyone in who wants to, give them all super freebies just because they came, and generally let them vote anytime they want.

You have convinced me with your razor sharp humor, and your incredibly agile mental gargantuousness, she really didn't say what she said.

You have shown me the true secret decoding capabilities of advanced beings.

Thank you for such intense freedom! I'm finally free thanks to your amazing insights!!!

and for you, since you have no humor or reading comprehension....the obligatory /sarcasm.

I take Sarah Palin at her word. She told Bret Baier she will not run if there is another candidate willing to make the sacrifice to uphold true conservative principles and steer clear of the establishment web. She would be that person’s biggest supporter (and that is not just an expression-—her endorsement and efforts would be absolutely vital). If there is no such person seeking the nomination, she will run.

So if Pence, or DeMint, declare, she won't. Right?

That's how I understood her comments. If they run and she does as well, I and many others would want her to explain how Pence (seems to be a great possibility) or Demint (ditto) aren't conservative enough.

“I take Sarah Palin at her word.”

No, you didn’t read her words properly. She stated very clearly that she would support a Pro Constitution conservative if they were to run...and I quote, “If they can do the job”.

That means they need to be capable, in her mind of getting the job done. It also means they have to be electable. There is no conservative out there that is electable as Palin.

Let’s not try to twist her words in some absurd interpretation like some of these PDS’rs are doing.
